Personally i dont think it matters much what its done with. But it really does feel crazy in the lats for me personally. On machines it doesnt feel as good as a free weight

idk i prefer to keep my elbow locked (not necessarily straight) so that my rear delt gets burned to crips - don't care one bit about lats, i just stretch them
and that i follow with rotator cuff with literally one kilo barbell until it burns
beautiful, rowing is for warm-ups, no i have no problem with pullups as in i do them cold if i need to climb shit

I have NEVER once felt sore in my chest or lats. I can burn the hell out of my quads, glutes, biceps and so on but never the two muscle groups I want to hit the most.
Also I do stupid 3 day a week full body routines so I am literally only doing 1 back and 1 chest exercise a week so they basically never get worked.
For some reason dumbbell pullovers hit my lats much more than rows.
I like to row dangerously.
