The truth about milk

Just came from a thread on /misc/ where milk was discussed but thought here might be a better place to ask. Is milk truly the elixir we always thought it was or is the idea that it's bad for you fake and gay?

We were discussing milk on IST. We believe lactose intolerance to be a meme. If you can't digest lactose, your microbiome is fricked. The whole lactase gene thing is bs. I couldn't digest lactose. Forced myself slowly to drink it. Went from gassy + shits to being able to drink litres distributed across the day.

How can the Masai/Mongolians drink milk despite the majority not having the "lactase persistence" gene? There's tomfoolery going on.

Also, yes, milk is the elixer of geniuses. Nikola Tesla, Grothendieck, Heaviside all persisted on shit tons of milk, and sometimes milk alone for longer periods.

Drink your milk, increase your IQ.

Here's food for thought. When they create lactase artificially, they take fungi found in raw milk then use that to produce lactase (HUGE KEK). Now imagine what would happen if you colonize your biome with cultures producing lactase instead.

I will get myself cow and drink its fresh milk.

They do, but even so, I've read old literature where the debate was rife too. Some older generation danes drank their milk hot for example. The notion that all milk was drunk raw isn't true (though it was common, some just preferred hot milk). I can point you to the book if you want, it was written by an old time-doctor on the healing power of raw horse milk.

The milk quality is what matters more imo, but I digress. The point is, that people's biome have become so fricked, that they can't drink pasteurized. When they should be able to. Raw, grass-fed is always easier to digest than low-temp pasteurized though. Homogenized is trash, even when you have the best quality.

Ruminants become lactose intolerant because they develop the rumen, they can no longer process milk. When they are little, they develop an alternative passage that leads the milk directly to the last stomach, it is called the "esophageal groove".
We are not ruminants, we can drink milk our whole lives, and that's why the strongest nations and people were obsessed with milk.

At its best, being from grass fed cows, minimally processed, while milk sold in glass bottles, it is pretty top tier.

Overly processed skim milk fortified with vitamins and sold in plastic, not so great.

Milk has Vitamins A and D which are both fat soluble, so taking the fat out of milk is counter productive. Also tastes bland without fat.

Countries with higher consumption of milk have higher rates of broken bones. Some scientists think it might have a calcium leaching effect. I'm white and love cheeses but the "milk=strong bones" narrative is just an old wives tale.

For anyone who can't tolerate milk, drink raw milk kefir. It has tona of probiotics that help rebalance your gut microbiome. I drank raw homemade kefir for a year or so, and I went from 1 tsp of milk giving me diarrhea to being able to drink 2.5 gallons a week with no issues.
Sauerkraut also helps. Basically, anything fermented will help heal your gut.

It's a cheap and healthy source of vitamins, carbs, fats, and proteins. It's also very high in calories for how satiating it is. If you're trying to lose weight, don't drink that much. If you're trying to bulk, drink a lot. If you're just maintaining, drink a normal amount.

HERES HOW I KNOW LACTOSE INTOLERANCE ISNT A MEME
if I drink more then say a half pint of milk I do not shit for a day more more usually two
When I don’t drink milk and eat a high fiber diet I shit multiple times per day
When I drink milk and eat a lot of fiber, I don’t shit but my stomach bulges and I bloat so yes it’s not a meme

Milk is one of the best foods you can consume on a bulk.
        >High calorie
        >Cheap af
        >Protein rich
        >Liquid calories so it doesn't fill you up
        >Nutritious as frick

GOMAD isn't just a meme, if you struggle with putting on weight , just a gallon of milk which isn't hard to consume at all will get you to 2300 calories and 180 grams of protein. Add a meal or 2 to that and you'll have any hard gainer gain weight like crazy.

Pretty normal, shitting twice to three times per day is healthy.
What's not healthy is if you're shitting every few days.

facebook is the place to find a farmer near you that sells raw milk, btw. just message them. generally they have a fridge in a barn or porch you just go grab your stuff and pay them on zelle or something. ask for widemouth glass gallon jars if you want to make butter from the cream, 1 gallon of raw milk makes roughly a pound. you just whip it until it goes past whipped cream and turns into butter and water., then knead it in a big bowl of icewater to get all the buttermilk out of it. real buttermilk is just grey protein water, you have to let it sit in the sun for a couple days to become thick and acidic if you want to use it as leaven.

i drive about half an hour every sunday to a farm to get two gallons of raw milk, they usually sell eggs too.

i consume not much else except bread i make from wheat berries i grind. milk is the mana of the gods. you really need little else.

There's a reason milk is pasteurized.

Unless you're getting it yourself, from your own cow, you don't know what you're getting.

Commercially-milked cows regularly bleed. Blood is mixed in with the milk. They're kept in unsanitary conditions and may have undetected infections.

This is no different from vaccinations. We have several generations of soft idiots who didn't see the ravages of polio, for example, who now think there's some conspiracy. Absolute morons fighting hard to remove the barriers put in place to protect them from obvious risks that they're too ignorant to recognize.

polio was literally caused by the vaccine. all those iron lungs and crippled kids? 100 fricking percent of them after the vaccine. polio was pretty harmless before.

pasteurization is a criminal act. and you are weak.

It was more they were trying to prevent horrible loss of life and life altering injury from illnesses, not just polio. But raw is more better if you have a good source and can test.

but that shit didnt happen until the vaccine was given. the vaccine caused the epidemic. innoculation has been of spotty effectiveness since ancient times . rabies is an antidote, not a vaccine. pertussis i might give to my kid if the adjuvants were not horrible, at maybe 6 months. the rest of it - vaccines are an awful idea we cant roll back for various reasons.

Never heard of this. Also, E. coli is unable to grow in raw milk. You must be thinking of Listeria.

            >but that shit didnt happen until the vaccine was given.

Holy shit. There were entire WARDS full of children in iron lungs before and after the vaccine was developed. Polio was spreading like wildfire and if it wasn't for the scientists who developed the vaccine, you'd know a LOT more people deformed and crippled from the virus.

            https://www.npr.org/sections/npr-history-dept/2015/04/10/398515228/defeating-the-disease-that-paralyzed-america

My eldest aunt was one of the first groups of children in the general public to receive the first polio vaccine. It was scary because it was new, and because everyone knew there could be side-effects. But the (literally) crippling threat of Polio *greatly* outweighed any fears of the vaccine.

pic related is where milk intended for pasteurization comes from. It's disgusting and unsanitary.

My raw milk does not come from pic related. Nor does anyone's ITT. It comes from happy, healthy cows on pasture. I've been there before, and I taste the milk every week. I know what I'm getting, so speak for yourself when you say "you don't know what you're getting," homosexual.

          >buying medicine? well you don't know if it'll actually poison you since you weren't involved in every step of the production
I've been to the farm. I've met the owner. I've seen the cows. I've seen the milking process. I've been drinking the milk every week for years. I am much more knowledgeable about this subject than you. I know they wouldn't sell milk with blood or feces in it, you disgusting neurotic homosexual. Cope and seethe.

God I hate raw milk morons. I’d consider a well reasoned argument but what’s the point. Anyway milk is fine the macros aren’t really the best when you take a closer look though. I’d still drink whole milk though because there is some research that reduced fat/skim milk increases estrogen levels, whereas full fat dairy does not. I drink a decent amount but overall I prefer yogurt. For whatever reason it seems to be much better for my physique
