    Be here now.
Ignore the past and choose to believe you already are the person you want to be and be it.
Cast off the robes you once wore and fake it til it fricking sticks.
If you are sick of you....who is the part of you that is sick? Let that part of you be where you abide.

    It's called 'just do it'.
If it was easy then everyone would be their ideal self.

the funny thing is doing it is somewhat easy, that's how it works
      >try to do something
      >fail but acomplish a little some
      >try again
      >fail but it's a bit better
for the people watching you feels like magic, for you is just a thing more you're doing

The initial doing is easy, true. The keeping doing can be real tough.

well, rather than easy, absurd or ironic for we(me) tend to be so inactive or passive when it could be so different like that sentence "so close yet so far"

      based
but dont take this in as a blackpill, this world is ultimately beholden to God, we are not the sons of a tyrannical father, our ~~*rulers*~~ are more like an intruder that needs to be thrown out, this world is ours, it always has been, its never been theirs.

Having a good tracking mechanism so you always get reminded that you should do more everyday you should be looking at the stats and either feeling good about them going up or bad about them not changing or going down

A lot of it is about your environment, habits (which you have learned over decades, and especially from your parents/family) and genetics. So start by changing your environment to fit with the disciplines and practices you want to do, and begin to cut out bad habits and replace them with good ones. Just do a small step at a time. Don't try to be heroic, just make realistic changes. Over time you will become the person these things will create.

Yes, you have to want the thing. First you have to know who you are and who others are.

You have to develop stress. If you have a deadline and understand the amount of effort to meet that deadline, you will be stressed into putting more work into whatever it is you need to put work into

i don't know if this can be helpful for (you) but...
i wasted my 20's thinking. i only started living when i stopped it. i just do things now, i don't have reasons. i've been lifting for exactly 2 years now, people ask me why do i do it, i don't know what to say. i just do things now. ive waited years for a reason or a goal, it never came
i have zero plans for tomorrow, i only live in the present

    Christ Is Lord

i often say to myself this, to overcome procrastination
God gives us the struggle to overcome, or to choose between the pain of discipline or regret
these are very short term though
the only way you will be a strong fighter is if you have something worth fighting for, a purpose, historically it wouldve been for God; your family; your nation.
but family is dead and hard to come by, nations are dead, most ~~*christians*~~ dont know God
its much easier to work back breaking labor if breaking your back is putting food in front of your wife and children, no man can work tirelessly only for himself
however, there is great purpose to be found in rebuilding new communities, fighting the system, being a good honorable man in a world that wants you to be a pathetic coward, you just cant do it for yourself

      >most ~~*christians*~~ dont know God
Expand on this. How does one come to know God? Is it as simple as reading the bible and following His word?

Go watch Rock Lee and Might Guy. You're too focused on your failures and not focused enough on the next thing you need to do. When your arms give out, that's not your fault. That's just on the way to success.
