I just googled it and he's right. Took me 15 seconds you moronic fat frick.

Not only do you lose a disproportionate of bone mass, but also lean muscle tissue. So ozempic makes you lose weight, but a disproportionately high amount of it is muscle and bone.

Most of the revenue google gets from pharma industry. They tailor search results to benefit oharma industry. So yea, you are right, it's not valid for a medical search.
But if google, with the largest chunk of their income coming from the big pharma, says something against tge interests of that pharma, especially such giants like ozempic, it's 100% legit and they had no other choice than to admit it
That's how it works. It there was a single study showing tye opposite or that the result is statistically insignificant, they wouldn't show any statements like that in the search result.

No it's causes you're appetite to switch off so you stop eating, so normies then stop eating protein and live off a piece of toast of day and get hardly any protein and suffer excess lean tissue loss. If you program a diet and keep your protein intake high you're fine, like with any cut or crash diet. All ozempic does is switch off appetite to make compliance with any diet piss easy.

imagine using diabetes medication to lose weight, it will mess your pancreas up, but at least you will still look like shit, no exercise, no muscle, look like shit, no matter how much weight you lose, that's why there is all those skinny fat dudes with wide hips and narrow back and all these buttless females, no exercise you will look like shit, with exercise you look better no matter what

So I assume all this medicine simply makes you feel less hungry and thus you eat less and lose weight? Is there an opposite medicine to make me more hungry? I just can't eat enough calories to gain weight.

free will doesn't exist. being fat is genetic.

these drugs are the miracle treatment for obesity. it's about time society developed something that actually works instead of fat shaming which only works indirectly (like knowing deep down someone is grossed out by you rather than someone just insulting you).

that said i don't have a job or insurance so i can't afford it so i'm gonna try water fasting and then dieting for another 6 months. when i get a job one of my priorities will be a GLP-1 medication. my cravings for shitty food will never really go away. i'll always break eventually. drugs are the solution to this.

He is right about free will though. Free will does not exist and there is no decision or action taken by a human being that you cannot attribute to either instinct, genetic predisposition or past experiences forming new behaviour and mental scarring. If there was a computer powerful enough to truly take in all the perameters and history of an individual it would be able to correctly determine how you would react to every single situation you come across.

There is no evidence of free will.

he's right though. if you had a super computer that tracked you from birth to 5 or 6 years old, it could predict what you would do everyday with 100% accuracy.

that is for past events but we are saying future events. plus that is referring to the universe basically like predicting lottery balls being chosen, not the same as predicting someones behavior based on current AND past events.

i've lost over 60lbs multiple times in my life. i always gain the weight back eventually.

isn't there a stat that like 92% or more of people who lose substantial weight end up gaining it back after 5+ years? you can power through for years...and then you sink back into old habits. drugs are the solution.

        Anonymous

that's still a self control problem at the end of the day. taking a drug to fix the your lack of discipline still leaves you with no discipline. you need to find out why you keep sinking into destructive habits and work on fixing it

          Anonymous

discipline is determined by genetics and maybe some extreme life circumstances. i'll never develop the "discipline" to not eat excessively. the craving is always there, lurking in the background. drugs are a great solution for people like me.

nope they are losing body weight. the proportion of lean mass loss is apparently fairly high compared to normal sensible diets

        Anonymous

Only because their appetite switches off and they don't program/force themselves to eat enough protein. Anyone who programs a diet is fine.

if you can program a diet why the frick would you need a pill to lose so little weight

            Anonymous

To comply with it. Programming a diet is an act of intellect, compliance with a diet is an act of will that involves suppressing the emotional hunger drive. Ozempic switches off the emotional hunger drive, making complying with a diet effortless.

It's not magic - it works by reducing appetite, IE it helps people to reduce the CALORIES that they put IN to their bodies.
Hmm, if only there were some energy-balance principle that was known and understood for over a century that captured this esoteric principle and explained how it works...
