    >bread
In some countries they can't even legally call it bread because of the ingredients. Not America though, that's antisemitic.

it's actually not an unreasonable statement given the people responsible for pushing seed oils were all israeli

this, I've been to a subway once when they began setting up in every town and was so perplexed by the "bread" I thought I got fooled by the poor frick that put those things together. Subway has completely vanished from my country.

it's one of the lowest quality subs you can find too. you can hit any local sub place, get the highest quality ingredients with twice the meat and half the cost as subway.

Did they ever actually say the foot long was healthy, or that eating "a sandwich" there was healthier than other fast foods? I just think they never said a size and fatties assumed

The whole reason they got popular in the first place was because of the pedophile guy that lost 200 pounds eating their food or whatever

"Fogle changed his eating habits upon the switch to eating at Subway, replacing his 10,000-calorie-per-day food consumption with one small turkey sub and one large veggie sub along with some baked potato chips and diet soda, totalling about 2,000 calories"

Like I said, they just advertised it as you COULD lose weight eating there, they just never said what item or what size.

          >10,000-calorie-per-day food consumption
How the frick do you manage this?
I am purposefully over eating, not even clean.
I'll eat pizzas and sometimes bags of chips, I'll always over apply butter and dressing on the whole foods I eat. If I am feeling hungry at any point I fricked up, I push beyond satiety for most of my meals.
I'll still average 3000-3500kcal a day, the macros aren't even close to optimal I'm getting way too much fat.

By eating absolute junk, having a food addiction, building up the ability to overstuff your atomach over time, and just being fat. A double cheeseburger from McDonald's isn't that large, but has 437 calories. You (a normal person) could probably easily eat 3 of them if you were hungry for a meal. Maybe some fries too, and a drink. If you are nothing but double cheeseburgers, it'd take 23 of them to reach 10,000 calories. Now that sounds like a lot, but if you split it up into four meals, that's 5-6 burgers per meal. Fatties often eat more frequently than three meals a day, and may even have relatively large "snacks" between meals. So 6 burgers for breakfast, 6 more for lunch, 6 more for dinner, along with a couple mid day snacks of maybe 2 burgers each would get you to 10,000 calories. Now a good chunk of the calories in a fatties diet usually comes from drinks too. Pop, sports drinks "juice" which might contain some fruit, "coffee" which is more cream and sugary syrup than actual coffee, milkshakes, etc. Drinking calories is almost easier than eating them. Then you get into candy. A Reese's peanut butter cup has over 100 calories, for a single cup. You usually get like 3 or 4 in a package. A fatty isn't going to stop at just one package, they're going to eat at least 2 or 3. That's an easy 1000 calories, without providing much in terms of satiation.

Not to mention your TDEE is gonna be a fair bit higher when you're a fatass. A 25 year old man who's 5'10" and 130 lbs with a sedentary lifestyle will have a TDEE of about 1900 calories. If you bump the weight up to 400 lbs, the TDEE is over 3300 calories.

Tbf it was at a time when your fast food options most places were burgers, fried chicken or burritos. You didn't have chipotle or a dozen other semi-healthy places

      >you can hit any local sub place

Yeah but there's just not that many "local sub" places outside of very urban areas. If I'm in "pull off the highway for food mode" subway is it in 2003

      >get the highest quality ingredients with twice the meat and half the cost as subway.

Half the cost and twice the meat? Post one fricking picture of that shit chud. There's loads of better sandwiches, very few are much cheaper than subway

My favorite cheat meal is to purchase the classic chicken footlong, all the salads and a bit of ranch, then proceed to load 200g of shredded chicken from the supermarket in on top. 100g carbs/80g protein/ 30g fat.

Let me guess, you need more?

I go there 3 times a year. I always ask for the same sandwich.
    Please rate my sandwich:
    -footlong, whole wheat bread
    -tuna
    -onions (lot)
    -salad
    -4 olives
    -no sauce
