No one has ever said those things
>Don't egolift
>Slow and controlled
>Zero, Zero, Zero
>That exercise is useless
>What does that exercise do?
>Zero, Zero, Zero
I say this any time I see someone failing to hit remotely close to parallel on a squat, or doing spastic half rep on dips or pull-ups. Cheat your curls and rows all you want, on some lifts I think it's better to have an ooga booga mentality.
1/2/3/4+ for reps, come at me.
>hypertrophy training is more important than strength training for growth (they say while having 12" arms lol)
>bench press isn't optimal for building chest
>you don't need overhead press, if you want shoulders just spam lateral raises
itt: things I hear but I don't like
>No one has ever said those things

>why do you have 4 ounces of Cobalt-60 in your shaker bottle?
>LMAO this guy thinks he can turn himself into the Hulk
>go get screened for cancer
>your butt plug fell out in the squat racks
>wipe the equipment down
>meth is bad for you
>steroids make your dick smaller
>form is more important than heavier weights!
This is a quote from Tom Platz....
I think that was more aimed at the dyels who take it to an extreme refuse to push themselves, benching less than 1pl8 after a year of going to the gym
Inevitably you have to frick your form a little bit when you're going up in weight, the first time you bench 70kg it won't be perfect. But eventually you get used to it. Then you bench 80kg and it isn't perfect the first time. Repeat till 100kg. But some take perfect form to such an extreme that they aren't leaving the comfort zone and so they never reach the real weight
Tom Platz is a dyel
If you're breaking parallel you don't need to go lower this ties in with heavier weights being more important. You can bench however you like as long as your elbows break parallel.
>things dyels say
here you go, took this screenshot recently of some dumbass DYEL no-gym anon on this very board
>i care about literally anything anyone else in the gym does ever
>spot me bro!
>post body
>preacher curls will tear my biceps
do 52 sets a week bro
do stretch mediated hypertrophy bro
break those muscle down so they build back better bro
eat 6 meals a day bro or you won't use all that protein
>>low rep ranges build strength bro
>>high rep ranges is for hypertrophy bro
