Thinking about stopping going to the gym
I've been going for years now but I think it might be time to stop soon. It just doesn't do it for me anymore, it's not really helping me in any way. I don't get any benefits anymore, hasn't helped me with women, money, or meeting people. I'm not getting any joy out of it anymore like I used to It also costs me about $600 a year.

So yeah after lifting for many years, on and off I admit, it might be time to finally call it quits and move on with my life, so my new year resolution is to quit the gym. My membership expires in a 2 weeks.

Good for you! Go and make a change for yourself but make sure to substitute the gym for another physical activity. Preferably something that combines teamwork, coordination, a raised heart rate and some strength training.

Don't see this as a bad thing, it sounds like you need a new challenge so go find something new that makes you happy.

    God's speed anon.

Take a break anon. I got burned out after years too. Lifting for the sake of lifting just isn't fun after a while, it just turns into a chore. I started getting anxiety every time I would miss the gym, like I HAD to be there every day or I was doing something wrong. Get another hobby, but stay fit. Ride bikes, rock climb, carve wood, bang troony hookers, cook, whatever you can find to keep yourself occupied.

Thinking about keeping going to the gym
I've been going for years now but I think it might be time to go again soon. It just does it for me, it's really helping me in every way. I get all the benefits, helped me with women, money, and meeting people. I'm getting so much joy out of it and it only costs me about $600 a year.

So yeah after lifting for many years, on and off I admit, it might be time to finally step it up and make it a bigger part of my life, so my new year resolution is to go to the gym. My membership renews in a 2 weeks.

    This copypasta again.

Anons, if you are tired of the hobby called lifting take a few weeks break, in that time update/refresh/reinvent your program, if afterwards you still not feeling it move on. It’s just a hobby and you should love the process. Life is about more than one hobby
