It was the most gaygiest mainstream pop punk you could get your hands on with a tween-appealing market, and their days of just fricking around writing songs about assfricking dogs and jerking off your grandpa were left behind after they hit it big after they had to get sanitized and trendchase. The real douche bands were papa roach and beastie boys

Every now and then I listen to these bands and give them a chance, but Limp Bizkit in particular is just so bad. Some bands are timeless, but Limp Bizkit's shit sounds exactly like you'd think it would if you thought back to when they were popular. It's a very distinct sound and I can understand why they were appealing, even to me at the time when I was a teen, but as an adult I just can't listen to them anymore.

I was in my teens in the 90s, ngl shit was cash. I was a ski bum in the winter, bmx and skater bum in the summer. b***hes were loose, we worked at the mountains for free lift tickets and shit, had beater cars, ate delicious food, smoked weed, watched movies, fricked. it was a high test era. no smart phones, cell phones were rare, too. if you had one, it was for quick calls or for a text to meet up.
