I'm sorry to hear about your struggles anon. Sounds like you are going through some life circumstances that arent ideal. I would maybe see a doctor and get a blood panel done. You may be deficient in some things, stress can definitely cause that.

I was drinking around 1L of energy drinks daily.
One day I get insane kidney pain out of nowhere as if Thanos snapped his shit. The pain was so sharp that I couldn't even think, caused a fever and I was shaking constantly. Every doc thought it was kidney stones, but all I pissed out was a bunch of blood clots. Took antibiotics and stopped drinking energy drinks, started drinking more water. No issues with my kidneys anymore.

I normally have a caffeinated drink roughly every hour from waking to suppertime. A few days into a cold turkey break and I feel exactly the same. Either these types are built wildly different from people like me, they're lying, or they never actually withdrew from anything serious.
I have a very high caffeine tolerance and after a year or two of chugging energy drinks regularly I noticed that it fricks with my sleep pattern and energy levels throughout the day. Quitting caffeine made me more energetic.

I feel like in moderation a cup of black coffee can be useful. Nobody's perfect and sometimes you don't get enough sleep or you're just feeling kinda off and on those days a cup of coffee in the morning can help with your energy level. I only drink coffee a few times a week and I don't have any issues when I'm not drinking it.

Similar thing happened to me.
I was drinking around 1L of energy drinks daily.
One day I get insane kidney pain out of nowhere as if Thanos snapped his shit. The pain was so sharp that I couldn't even think, caused a fever and I was shaking constantly. Every doc thought it was kidney stones, but all I pissed out was a bunch of blood clots. Took antibiotics and stopped drinking energy drinks, started drinking more water. No issues with my kidneys anymore.

Stopped drinking caffeine a week ago to see if it would help my sleep.
I don't get caffeine withdrawals despite drinking and energy drink or two a day for a time period.
Sleep hasn't really improved (might be because i work graveyard shifts though) but I don't feel debilitated at all, so it just saves me money.
Ironically, to insects its a natural poison which is why plants evolved to produce it, but to us its about the closest thing we have to a miracle substance--pretty much all pros and no cons minus the potential for dependency
