It is truly all about the face. Guys with unimpressive physiques(think fight club Pitt) have amazing bodies for women IF they have attractive face. Amazing body will sadly look like shit to women if you are ugly.

You know how many men aren't picky and frick women whose body doesn't match their actual preference? When it comes to physique alone, women are the same. It simply doesn't matter much. If I like skinny women but there's a skinnyfat girl with nice breasts or a nice ass and an acceptable face I'm in. If a woman likes fit guys but there's a skinnyfat tall guy with a great face she will be a-ok with that, too.

That and acting is a huge risk unless you have family connections in the industry, which doesn't apply to most Asian Americans. The tiny minority of Asian girls that go into acting are either too dumb to succeed academically, or not pretty enough to become Instagram baddies. And we all know that stupid people are ugly.

What would you do if you had a friend, and you know that genuinely loves you and cares about you. Like, helped you through tough times, sometimes actually lifted you up (money, cheering you up, introducing you to friends, jobs etc).
You also love that friend like a sister but sometimes she seems to put you down.
Something just clicked, and I realised that my friend likes me when she is stronger - when she is more comfortable socially, in a position of power, she is very kind and helpful to me.
But if I'm strong, successful or confident, she fights with me. She tells me all kinds of shit like I'm being condescending, or I'm belittling her, and I have no idea what the frick she is talking about but apologies anyways.
The last year was rough on me, and in the last few days I've hit an all times low and actually got depressed. Still went to work, helped friends move, studied, but I've had lots of suicidal thoughts, not of the self pity kind but of the trying to convince myself that my family can do ok without me kind.
I cried every night and just let myself go through it. Today she told me how nice I've been to her the last few days and thanked me for that. I was very confused and told her how I'm feeling and she was shocked and apologised.
Now the realisation dropped that my friend likes it when I'm weak. I moved in with her after breaking up with my bf, and when her parents bought her an apartment she told me I can stop paying rent, and I live here for free now, she pays for both of us. She helped me get my previous job. I know she actually loves me and looking at it objectively she is a good person in my life. Also she is one of the coolest, smartest people I've ever met and I love ger like we are sisters.
But I'm bothered with this power thing, wtf is it. Seems like she should hate me but she loves me. And how do you handle a relationship with this in the middle?
