this happens if i plug one nostril and blow out of the other at a good angle. it happens whether i am sick or not, and always makes my sinuses feel completely clear. i see it as mucous that has been sitting in the sinuses for a non-short period of time, but i could be wrong.

Probably sinus infection or something that made its way into your sinuses. Getting it out of your body is good.
Used to blow this shit out of my sinuses twice a day when I was having cold a month ago.
You probably have some stage of infection, causing your body to produce thicker mucous in your nose. A large chunk of it probably got dislodged due to the humidity in your shower. It doesn't seem like anything to worry about.
This came out of me but even worse and larger when I got sinus infection, I was coughing aliens for two weeks. Quite bad pain in my head as well when I leaned down, couldn’t even sleep laying down for two days, slept sitting up lol, went away by itself
