Problem was that he wasn't given enough time to build his physique lol. He unironically had good mass, just looks smaller because of high body fat and lack of definition. Even his face looked bloated as hell. If he had another 6 months to do a good cut, keeping the muscle but losing the fat, he would've looked much better
I thought his physique was perfect for the movie version of Bane. A rogue terrorist leading a small army would probably be builtfat because 1. Why would he care about getting cut and 2. He’s a weirdly pseudo-religious zealot, looking classically built/jacked wouldn’t fit as well as a guy who trained with prison equipment in a cave. It was a plus to have a cursed physique
