I wouldn't say he's exactly a role model. He thought he needed to risk destroying his body to be worth anything. That said, most of us cope and deal with problems. He didn't turn to alcohol, drugs or beating the shit out of his family and the way he destroyed his body is better than addiction or living obese. He also achieved something remarkable. I would like to have a workout with him but also give him a hug.
