So no preexhausts?
>You will NOT leave reps in the tank
Not even warmups?
>splits are OVERRATED
How am I supposed to arrange my excercise selection without splitting it?
>exercise selections are OVERRATED
Oh. Well what does he do?
Are you sure you're summarizing him correctly?
>>You will NOT do more then 1 set
Not everyone is able to train until real muscle failure. You'll need somebody to spot you, you'll need equipment with safety measures to avoid injuries.
>>You will NOT lift more then once a week
Per muscle group. I have to agree.
>>You will NOT do cardio
I have to disagree. I know the research and the arguments behind it, but in my opinion something is missing. Science has not figured out all of our bodies processes. So just common sense and experience tells me that there is a difference between lifting heavy and doing cardio, especially in regard to the heart.
>>You will NOT stretch
I'm doing Yoga and will continue. Just like I said above, it is my experience and it feels good.
>>You will NOT train with fast tempos
100% agree. You should alway be in control of the weight.
>>You will NOT do isolations
Disagree. There are great isolation machines that offer you training until real muscle failure with very little risk of injury due to their design.
>>You will NOT leave reps in the tank
It depends on your goals.
are OVERRATED
Most are.
>>rep ranges are OVERRATED
Yes.
are OVERRATED
Most are. PPL is simple and works great for example.
selections are OVERRATED
You are repeating yourself, Jay.
Jay is like those Carnivore diet guys, taking research to an extreme level.
Stop shilling your channel homosexual
Rolling for jaylynn
roll
Roll!!!
Re roll
rolllling
Rolling 4 Naomi
Lmao got the literal opposite (LULZ one instead of feminist one)
>>You will NOT do more then 1 set
>>You will NOT lift more then once a week
Does this guy advertise 1 set a week per muscle group? The fitness industry must be extremely saturated if someone has to be plain moronic to stand out.
so what does he advocate then?
He advocates for 2 times a week training.
Isolations are part of the routine. The focus is on muscle failure and time under tension. He recently said that you can even train brosplit that way so get out of here disinfo shill.
The main concepts are time under tension and muscle failure. Everything else is up to the individual. If you recover well, train the muscle to failure 2 times a week if you want.
Also he said that you can get 90% of the benefits by just training chin-ups, dips and squats to failure which I personally don't agree with.
So he's repackaging HIT shit, another meme that doesn't work, and pretending it's his own. That dips/chins/squats shit is 1:1 plagiarism from Arthur Jones. The three most important lifts for muscle mass to him were dips, chin-ups and squats, though he didn't advocate that lunatic 2x a week 1 set 10-minute workout bullshit that came later.
>"Apart from a rather limited number of hardcore bodybuilders who are misguided enough to believe that they have a chance to compete against the outright genetic freaks that now dominate bodybuilding competition, just about anybody else in this country can produce nearly all of the potential benefits of proper exercise without spending much if anything in excess of about twenty dollars. You can build both a chinning bar and a pair of parallel dip bars for a total cost of only a few dollars, and those two exercises, chins and dips, if properly performed, will stimulate muscular growth in your upper body and arms that will eventually lead to muscular size and strength that is very close to your potential.
Then on the barbell squat which he valued over calisthenics squats.
>"If you still remain unconvinced, then ask yourself just why I am so anxious to convince you of the value squats; after all, it makes no slightest difference to me whether you do squats or not – or “how” you do them, if you do them. Squats are not something that I can sell you, nor did I invent them – they are simply a very good form of exercise that cannot be duplicated insofar as benefits are concerned any other single exercise."
And it's also likely him posting himself here for advertising. Pure homosexualry.
I like him
His videos are poorly edited and can’t keep me having watchtime. Jay if this is you get a fricking editor you cheap c**t. Also trim your fricking chest hair.
So 5/3/1 would be ideal right?
>each coumpount once a week
>bbb
>amraps
>optimal recovery
hes handsome
>thoughts on jay vincent
he's wrong
every jacked dude I know natty or not does a bro split with tons of volume and tons of rest for each bodypart
everyone trains to failure or close to failure with regular tempo, everyone does isolations and at least 2 exercises for each bodypart
Never heard of him. He doesn't look like anything and his advice is obviously garbage. I shall ignore.
it's escalation from exercise minimalism (le cancel your gym membership and buy a bb/power rack) to exercise nihilism (anyone who is dyel has bad genetics, all exercise is the same, doing basically nothing is the same as 6 hours a week)
>You will NOT do more then 1 set
>You will NOT lift more then once a week
no gains lmao
>You will NOT do cardio
>You will NOT stretch
>You will NOT train with fast tempos
fine
>You will NOT do isolations
>You will NOT leave reps in the tank
possible, but dumb
>exercises are OVERRATED
>rep ranges are OVERRATED
>splits are OVERRATED
>exercise selections are OVERRATED
kinda vague
Jay is based. Bodybuilding is an incredibly unhealthy life style, and its sad to see so many men throw away their health just so they can look like an African ideal promoted by ~~*hollywood*~~
Work out very minimally, and do it for strength and longevity, rather than looking like some weird unnatural blimp that wouldnt exist in nature.
