I went to the gym saturday night and there was this blonde short haired muscley gal working out alone with no headphones. It does bother me at times that men have become so feminized and weak that I seem so masculine in comparison. Nta (obviously) but I think a lot of guys on IST and especially in these threads try too hard. Like, speaking personally, all I want in a guy is for him to be sweet, caring and fun to be around, I don't necessarily want him to be jacked or anything. In fact, the guys I've dated in the past who were IST were more ottermode than anything else, big muscles just don't excite me because I see guys like that as more gymbros than actual potential dating partners. And don't get me wrong, if a super built guy was really sweet and made me happy, I'd absolutely date him, but that's because I care more about his personality than how he looks. If you guys want to lift for yourselves, that's awesome and you absolutely should. But at the end of the day, if I'm serious about you I want to make sure you are the kind of guy who treats me well and isn't afraid to be a little feminine from time to time.

Heh, that makes sense. For all the idolizing that guys like us do for tomboys, it's important to remember that you ladies are just people, not paragons of female strength or whatever. Not that we shouldn't admire you or find you attractive or anything, just that some grounding is probably in order so that women like you become placed on an unreachable pedestal.
I guess you haven't reached the point yet where you're stronger, braver, handier, better at fighting and more stoic than the average guy your age. It becomes difficult to feel feminine at times when you're more masculine than the guys around you thanks to the modern era.
