Training Program

If you were to creat a training program for someone to turn themselves into Conan the barbarian, what would it be? Including things like martial arts, education, fencing, archery, and whatever else he does.

The primary physical education of someone like that would be horseback riding, wrestling, odd implement lifting, and weapons practice for 1-2 hours each every day except for holidays, festivals, recovering from injury, or a day of battle. Outside of the physical he'd study military tactics, espionage, anatomy, different kinds of weapons and armor, diplomacy, and possibly reading and writing along with learning to speak multiple languages. These would also be studied daily.

Yeah fair but that seems like a big topic, which one specifically. I would also add folklore

Maybe focus on Greco-Roman at first. In a general sense focus on myths with heroic themes and don’t get lost in eastern mystics or modern nerds quibbling about metaphysics. Study virtue.

If we're going to larp as knights, Aristotle, and traditional church writings are a good place to start. If you want to be a techno barbarian, probably Nietzsche.

    Probably combat sports would be
    Wrestling
    Boxing
    Hema - for weapons training
    Horse back riding

Education would be probably similar to an outdoors / agonal education

Lifting program might be good with a standard strength routine with lots of pullups and dumbbell accessories.
