There's no strain involved in walking at all you clown. A 5'8" grown man doesn't need 2k calories a day just to walk for an hour and rest for 23. Do some push ups, hit a heavy bag, jog, sprint, ride a bike, do anything that a 65 year old woman can't.

Also, consider adding some resistance training. You need muscle and while you may not build it while cutting down like this, it'll be your next objective and you need to establish a baseline. Just start with some simple stuff, like push ups/squats/pull ups/curls/sit ups
