What I'm in for?
The same thing you are now except you will pressure yourself more into achieving what society tells you you are supposed to achieve with that age
But yeah, I concur with a lot of the posts above. I was WAY happier in my 30's than my 20's. I'm 41 now so I can compare the entirety of both decades and not just 1-2 years into 30 like a lot of the others above.
The 40's though so far has not been great. While parts of it (family) are more fulfilling now than ever, overall I expect it to be kind of shit comparatively to my 20's and 30's.
A midlife crisis if you're single and don't have kids.
Joints starting to hurt
crow's feet and other kind of wrinkles
Time flies bros, i was here 7 years ago chilling as a 23 year old zoomie and now im a grandfather.
I was at a coffee shop yesterday and a zoomer girl at around 21 she called me grandpa and she giggled. My friends are telling me that 30's are ok and shit but they dont lift so i don't really care about their opinion. i need the opinions of chads over 30 here. I haven't missed a day of gym in the last year, recently came out of an LTR and got a new car and shit but im still a sad cunt.
How do you cope with mindset when you are over 30?
You failed a clear shit test brah. Early-30s are literally the same as your late-20s. Stay fit, stay lean, go easy on the drugs/booze and flirt with girls.
Not sure it's even a shit test. The subject obviously pushes his buttons so it could have been as innocent as teasing or flirting.
Well yeah depends on the context of the conversation. If it was a flirty teasing one then it's still a failure not to riff on it which is a shit test to measure how comfortable he is with the age difference. If it was just a random overheard comment from some girl then yeah who gives a fuck.
Im 32. Some girl i was seeing constantly gave me shit and called me an old man. It was just bantz lol. Dont take it so seriously and just say "dont make me spank you kid"
You are either a millennial or 25+5 year old boomer.
>25+5 year old boomer.
Look literally from 23 until now i was in a LTR's with several girls, one 5 years, the seconds was 2 years and another 2 years with another one, i was never alone until now that i decided to break up with my last bpd girl(one year) and now im alone and i want to just 'fuck around' or don't commit until im like 33 because i haven't been in the fuckboi phase, also the truth is all my 20's i was grinding because i started off poor and i leeched off rich women until i realized money is a meme if you don't make moves and life's to short.
I don't know what direction to take now because it's hard to pull of the social media game at 30 (insta, tik tok etc) so i don't even know where to meet girls and i refuse to download tinder.
Thoughts? Also how the fuck do you cope alone?
nice brah im gonna be like you at 38 just a little bit leaner, do you slay?
Peak fertility with maturity, confidence and money.
I'm happier now than I was in my early 20's and get more attention from women.
You'll soon reach a point where the loss of vitality is noticeable, as you've reached the first decade of your life where your body is getting worse. It's slow, but it creeps up on you.
You'll suddenly be judged for looking at, being attracted to, or dating women in their early 20s as if they're not adults.
People have different expectations of you.
You'll start to notice superficial aspects of aging, and it sucks more than you thought it should.
On the other hand...
People are more likely to trust your competence, and it's easier to get better jobs.
Young women tend to like men in their 30s more than men in their 20s, and it's not always about money. Your chiller personality and even distinguished appearance make you more attractive.
You stop caring as much about physical qualities of women. Yes, you still want a woman who you're attracted to and who is healthy, but a lot of those standards you use to have will seem petty, like hair color or titty size. You'll also give much less weight to youth when it comes to dating, and can enjoy sex with an older woman as much as sex with a younger woman.
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.
>People are more likely to trust your competence, and it's easier to get better jobs.
This is actually huge. Despite all the other downsides to hitting 30 in regards to physical degradation, people and society actually start treating you like a man and people call you sir in public instead of "dude","bro", etc. For the first time in your life, you start being treated with a baseline level of respect by most people, men and women.
In ancient Roman society they actually didn't consider men until 30, and they couldn't vote or participate as full citizens until then. So the respect you begin to have at 30 has ancient biological foundations.
You have to watch your diet, sleep and stress to feel the way you took for granted in your twenties. You'll be more prone to injuries so warm ups are more important. I started noticing this at 28 so reaching 30 didn't really feel like a big milestone.
Your 20's suck dick. I'm 31 now and never been happier.
Ignore these old washed out boomers, 30 is old man age and it's pretty much over. Your considered a old man and if your still single with no kids, it's very depressing. No point of living as a old loser
I turned 30 in January and generally been doing better mentally.
I definitely get tired faster though, and it sucks. The other day I was playing basketball with my 17 year old brother and for the first time in my life felt like I couldn't keep up. It's a gradual deterioration but it's there and you will notice it when comparing to younger guys.
It's easier with women. I think this one is on me though because a 20s me used to get attention from women and then either act like a sex crazed ape and scare them away, or be ultra autistic and creep them out. Now I am just chill and feel more at ease to banter with them.
You're gonna feel the pressure of matching up to society's expectations. Get a house, get married, have kids. It doesn't even matter that we're in a recession and whatnot, you're just gonna feel like a failure if you didn't achieve those.
Overall, 30s are pretty neat. If you worked hard in your 20s to have money then you're gonna have a good time and better options. You simply become more attractive (not necessarily looks, but more finance/confidence/strength).
My best advice would be to not let it get to your head because this is how you get burned out and turn into the equivalent of a 20 year old roastie coasting through her youth and ending up with nothing.
If I could choose the best ages I've experienced inner peace and personal growth would be 27-30. I don't know if it gets better from here but before 27 was definitely shit
Men peak at like 34. What does that tell you
Do you have children and wife already? Nothing special
Otherwise, a whole lot of depression
if you dint waste your 20s( work, money, a little bit of status, an apartment, a solid body and a honda civic) you can go back and play with 20 year old women. also expect 30 year old women to call you a groomer, laugh at them and ignore them.
>t.32 with 21 girl.
I am 28 years old and I never even kissed a girl
27. Dating a 36 year old. Lifted for years never any attention
>Turn 20 in 2 weeks
What am I in for bros
