Alright IST. It's time. I've decided to sculpt myself into a god, help me out.

The plan is to maximize the effort in all the fields that matter.

>highly respected skill if done well (it's painting for me)
>diet (trying to maintain a good balance between carbs and meat)
>lifting (beginner gains here, gotta be more consistent)
>socializing (I'm good at socializing only when I feel good, so I have to improve everything else first)

Basically my goal is to improve everything in my life that gives me energy and makes me more effective both physically and mentally. To be an all-round man. What would you recommend? What works for you? Do you also have such goals for yourself? Pic rel is my goal body

You should probably add in reading books so you will eventually stop saying stupid things like "all-round man."

      Why is it stupid?

somewhat yes, id say a few things that have crossed my mind such as:

      >Toning down garbage content i consume
      >Spending more time in nature
      >Going back to reading
      >Increasing my cardio as much as possibe
      >Try to up my numbers (women) as much as possible especially now in the summer

Spending time in nature is severely underrated, number's game with women is also very important, keep growing my man

      >reading
I'm not convinced this is as important as everyone claims it to be. Practical experience will always beat it out book smarts.

Reading is supplemental, not primary, and very quickly begins to border on more frowned upon, trivial pursuits, such as doom scrolling or watching mindless sitcoms as a means of killing time.

I'm in a tricky spot in my life, imagine a recovering junkie who was abusing for a decade and is trying to crawl out of that hole on his own, all alone. I'm not a junkie, but I'm on that level. So really what I need is to work on the basics, and work my way up. I don't have anything except painting and my body is in a bad state (very skinny). I've been improving though.

I feel for you, anon, and I sincerely wish you all the best. Very happy to see you're taking initiative, that's extremely important - proud of you. Keep at the painting, go to the gym, and when you're ready - find something to get really good at (something people will pay you for, readily). Could be anything, just get good at it.

You'll get there anon. You're already on your way.

That's really good, wish I could critique it but it's pretty much perfect for what it aims to do. From a subject stance, the only thing I could say is that it's a bit of a boring subject, but from a technical perspective it's fantastic.
Maybe the only thing I'd do different is colder harder highlights in the hair, with sharp shapes to make it pop and give shape to the head. Though I get that'd remove some focus from the eyes, I think it's worth.

Understanding what the other person feels != actually feeling them.

It’s a meme disease that lets you get taken advantage of and offers little benefit but unnecessary heartache. I don’t need to imagine and feel the suffering of someone I’d think of assaulting to know that I’d get in trouble for it, that there’s no benefit to it, to not do it. I also wouldn’t need to feel hungry when seeing a homeless man to know that he, logically is.

It’s not even an insult fren, it’s a tip I’m handing out free of charge. The sooner you stop taking the burden of others on you, the sooner you can live a satisfying life.

weaponized empathy is actually key to sociopathing effectively. in cut-and-dry physical scenarios with obvious causes empathy is, as you say, unnecessary, but when it comes to more sophisticated social spheres (the ones which generally have higher stakes) the more you're able to imagine feelings that you yourself would never have the more you'll be able to manipulate others

Thanks, I screencapped this for future reference. Does the latter part of your message mean I have to go out of my way to read others right, or is being likeable and being carried by the halo effect of my appearance enough? I can get along with anyone but I feel like these complex social games come naturally only to women

                Anonymous

it will come eventually to the point where it comes naturally but it helps to ask yourself questions like "what does he/she feel about this?" rather than trying to imagine how you would feel in a similar situation and learn basically by paying attention to their actions (i.e. what outcomes they act towards as opposed to what outcomes they talk about, this distinction is quite significant) and facial expressions. to address your first point, the halo effect will carry you far, but you have to know whether or not it's working by noticing things. not everyone is gonna like you for being attractive and some people will be envious, figuring out which is which is important

Look, I'm not coming down on you for not knowing how this works. I have hearing loss and this has been hell for me to learn, but you need to understand that the basic issue you're having is that people can't read your body language. When people never feel chemistry with you and you have a dour attitude it's hard not to start despising you. It's just human nature to want to get rid of the person who won't engage with the group, and some people snap harder than others.

    Here's my goals.
    >be the best at my main hobby
I'm already better at it than anyone I've met (as far as I know), and a lot of them did it for a living. So it's going well. I literally intend to be the best in the world at it, if it's the last thing I do.
    >maintain my second hobby, lifting
    >become a social elite, capable of shining in any social situation, interesting and funny, can talk my way in and out of situations and seduce people
This is going to be tricky because I'm pretty moronic.
    >frick multiple 18 year olds
Everyone I've had sex with up until now has been older than 18, idk why but I want to be able to say to myself I frick 18 year olds. It's random but one of my goals for the next few years.
    >make a successful program and sell it
Thinking of making something to sell to DARPA or DoD, won't go into details, but I want to have atleast 1 successful proprietary software at some point in my life.
    >possibly get revenge
I'm moronic and can't let go of grudges. I'd like to get revenge at some point if possible on a few frickers who did me dirty. I assume if I get too happy I'll end up dropping this idea though, it'd probably be too much of a hassle.

i think you got the bulk of it.
    i'd add a few things:
    >spending more time in nature and outside (hiking, hunting, fishing, kayaking, camping, etc.)
    >skin care routine
    >having a good sense of style and investing in high quality, fitted clothes
    >Read classics and develop your interest in art
    >Cardio
    >Spend little to no time online/scrolling and spend that time instead on a hobby
    >Learn to cook properly
    >Get your money up

there's always more shit you can do, but what's important in the long run is to enjoy the moment, enjoy the process and try to keep the stress levels down. Stress will ruin your enjoyment of life.
also, have a concrete long term goal. what are you improving yourself for?

      Anonymous

      >what are you improving yourself for?

Personally? I just want to experience that feeling that I overcame myself. That despite all the odds, I made it. I want to prove something to myself, that life can be more than it is now.

What's after that? I really don't know, it's something I'll figure out as I go.

There are some websites which I saved as total.
.html page + folder containing all the data
then I started to save the pages as single file without a folder containing all the data.

If this might be a security criteria, I will re-save all those pages and update the archive.

As a side note, a lot of anons over the last years already saved this archive and no one ever told me about some virus.

just checked, they are mostly from old saved IST threads
I will have to replace them with an archived version
maybe I will do this if I care enough

My dad was highschool football quarterback, played rugby in college, and later became a very successful heart surgeon. Obviously, he passes the chud test and could be on an SS recruitment poster. By all metrics, an "ubermensch".

He is not some crazy aryan nazi fanatic, he is a regular guy. He does normal things and has normal hobbies. He does not spend his time larping on a Laotian seal taming forum. He is not a white nationalist. He does not fetishize nazi aesthetics, or subscribe to extremist political beliefs.

Point is, this shit is fricking cringe. Nobody who actually is an """"ubermensch"""" says shit like this. It's always morons who want to larp. Drop the poltard act and set realistic goals. Maybe then you'll actually do something instead of making endless threads about how you definitely will change starting now.

Just do stuff thats kinda hard. Its frustrating but the only thing that makes people respect you. Especially when you dont believe you can do it, thats where growth is. Also dont be such a fricking incel all the time. And take your training seriously but dont overthink it. Its not that complicated ffs.

My goal is to be a strong but loving father, who provides for my family, and teaches my kids and lead by example how to be successful adults while also maintaining their dignity and identity in this corrupt world.

Why are you lifting if your goal is to paint? What are you painting? If you're painting athletes, then pick up their sports so you intimately know how they move. If you're painting boats, then pick up sailing so you know what the details mean. If you're painting cars, then go apprentice as a mechanic so you know what makes them beautiful inside and out. If you're an artist, then just THROW yourself into the passion! Don't just passively watch it.

Dont talk about your goals, not to anyone. Only talk about your achievements. I fell for the pride in things i havent done meme and it only makes life worse.
