                Gluconeogenesis only occurs in kidneys and liver, not every cell. So really, carnivore/keto diet could place an extra burden on the liver and kidneys because of all the conversions that need to take place before other body cells can use them.

        Veggies get you micronutrients that aren’t in meat. But the point is just eating purely saturated fat all the time isn’t good for you. If you add in leaner cuts of meat cooked with olive or avocado oil you’ll have way better health outcomes than somebody who slathers everything in butter, cheese, and sour cream. My lipid profile is perfect and I have high hdl just from doing this. I still eat saturated fats too.

It obviously varies among vegetables but you have varying concentrations of phytic acid, goitrogens, oxalates, isoflavones, lectins, and other antinutrients that make it nearly impossible to absorb much nutrition from vegetables. I say this as somebody who semi-regularly eats vegetables for the taste but the bioavailable nutrition of vegetables is essentially nonexistent for human beings.

    I cut seed oils for two weeks very strictly and when I went into the beating hot sun for over an hour I didn't get sunburnt at all. While I usually burn in 10 minutes. (I have very pale paper skin). That was enough for me to figure that sneed oils make you more prone to sun damage, which ages you. Not the sun itself
