            yeah i agree it's a fatso machine because of the mechanics. being lean and strong means it's an exercise of trying to not let your butt fly off the seat, which makes other options so much better.

        Slow and controlled, focus on the low back.
        If your shit is that bulletproof do some good mornings, RDL's or bent over rows first to pre-fatigue.

    these work really well at strengthening lower back if you do them correctly. full rom, squeeze glutes on the way up.

    You don't get enough lower back work from squats and deadlifts? In what way could this help lol. I would understand if it was a reverse hyper, but not normal hypers.

    I'm up to 40kg bar on back on these, they feel unreal. Just went from 1x a week to 2x because they just feel that good.

    Also 3x20 seated good mornings feel phenomenal as well

    Do them with a medicine ball, not a barbell or plates
