Unironically gave myself Mercury poisoning from eating Tuna five days a week for a about a year straight. I went to a neurologist and everything. They thought I had MS at first. I thought the whole tuna-mercury thing was just a big meme being pushed by the DEENZ guys. Someone pls recommend me a religion because I am never following my own advice again.

how fricking autistic do you have to be to eat the exact same food 5x a week for a year

      Anonymous

Lmfao I ate the same breakfast, lunch and dinner every day for this year of uni. The skin on the back of my hands started peeling. Came home for the summer and that shit got fixed in less than 2 weeks.

Probably gonna do the same shit again next year but with multivitamins.so I don't actually die.

          Breakfast:
          2 bananas
          1 mug of milk
          40g peanut butter

          Lunch:
1 serving of this shit (1/4 of totals)
          500g 20% beef mince
250g mixed peas, carrots, green beans
          250g mixed cauliflower, broccoli
Salt, pepper, chili powder, curry powder

          Dinner:
          400g roasted potatoes
          2 fried eggs

yeah I think it was some kind of scurvy. I stole fruit sometimes but not enough LOL. perfectly fine at home because my parents cook well and have money to spend on stuff like salmon.

Most likely not scurvy, I put this into cronometer out of interest and the potato and broccoli gives enough vitamin C.
This doesn't really seem like enough to cause a deficiency anywhere, it's actually pretty hard to see nutrient deficiency symptoms.
If your uni times were like mine I'd guess sleep deprivation tbh.

It's healthy to eat the same food every day at the same time. Gives your body regular stool. I eat oats at the same time every morning and shit at pretty much the same time every day. It's good for keeping your body in balance.

prove you have brain damage. what's your favorite anime?

I've only ever watched one Anime and that was 'Death note' - I never finished it though. Got like halfway through; seemed pretty good. Don't know why I stopped watching it. I watched Pokimon and Yu-Gi-Oh when I was a kid if that counts. And Jackie Chan adventures.

should have gone for sardines instead.

It doesn't say it on the tins I buy; and I thought the stuff you read online was the stuff of ~~*expert says*~~. You know like a psyop or something of the sort.

So what are the symptoms anon

Numbness on right side of body, muscle spasms, rigidty, difficulty walking (at its worst); and the giveway was the metallic taste in my mouth. Getting better now thankfully. But the half life of Methylmercury is like 75 days tbh.

did you have brain damage before or after the tuna?

Autism is a disease of information. The concern with food consistency comes from worrying about food spoilage. It's a lighter form of the people who become obsessed with getting rid of germs and constantly sanitize their home.

I'm not sure if the autism cure is more information or less though. Would it be better to make them less concerned with spoilage? Or to give them more information on how to identify foods that are safe to eat?

I live in Japan and subsist primarily on slabs of raw bonito sashimi and eggs. My understanding is that not only are the levels generally lower in bonito, but the selenium content is higher, which binds with mercury and other problematic things. I also take an NAC + selenium supplement from NOW supplements. I skip tuna entirely.
