30kg is 66lbs. Those are pretty impressive numbers if you do Incline for reps.
        >I'm 70kg/154lbs
        OP you're full of shit.

I don’t think this is that impressive. I’m 160 and pretty casual about lifting and I can rep out 65 pound dumbells for incline bench. I can do a lot of push-ups though, so this guy probably has shit technique or bad core strength or something.

Depends on your height, it would be strange if they were above 6 feet

        why do you say this
im confused cus im 6ft about 77kg and i incline bench 34kg dbs and im not sure if its good or bad

i mean its subjective. im 70kg and incline press 42,5kg dumbbells for 8-10 reps. but i have never benched more than 2pl8s. could i bench more? maybe but im not interested in powersharting. its shit exercise imo and i always hurt my shoulder. now anyways im so fricking far away from 3pl8 bench let alone 4pl8. so is it good or bad? i mean its so bad compared to 3/4pl8 that it cannot even be compared.

and i did somewhat tsimilar weight ~37,5kg that i can recall already like 8-9 years ago so again like its just i dont think that its good at all. yeah diminishing gains, i was heavier weight now im fricking shredded to the bone and so on but all these things are just completely arbitrary its really hard to measure 1:1

what is that if you're 70kg at 6'5 feet, you probably have very little muscle, but if you're 70kg at 5'4 feet, you can have a lot of muscle.

This is genuinely impossible to conceive. Pushups are basically as easy as doing a bench press of the barbell without any weight on. What the frick is wrong with you?

Not true, pushups are about the same as benching 60% of your bw, so about 42kg for OP.

      >use 30kg dumbbells when doing incline bench
      >can't do more than 3 pushups
      literally why, im only 70kg

But yeah its not possible unless you were talking about two 15 kg dbs

You're not bringing the dumbbells far enough down.

being short and having shorter arms makes it less impressive

      Work = Force × Distance

so you are going less work than someone with longer arms. not to mention better leverages. there's a reason t-rex length arm guys win BP in competitions

What feels like it's stopping you? Pushups require a lot more stabilization from other muscles, notably glutes, core, and lats if you're really doing it properly
