I see this meme about gorillas getting most of their energy in the form of SCFA's from their fiber rich diet online yet no one knows how supposedly this fiber fermentation produces SCFA's and more importantly how they are absorbed into the bloodstream which is necessary for the body to use them for metabolic purposes.
Unless you're a cow you ain't getting those, except maybe if you eat your own shit, all of it, even then it would be unrealistic.

The truth is those SCFA's gorillas supposedly derive from their diet aren't well understood at all and gorillas are also never in a state of ketosis unless they're diabetic so none of this matters.

The fuck are you talking about moron.
            Alright, organic chemistry lesson time.
Imagine glucose. Glucose is a sugar, and sugar due to it's reactiveness and simplicity can form a chain. Now, said chain can be formed in two possible ways, stable and unstable. The stable way is really fucking tough, to the point it forms resilient structures, kinda like keratins, which are really tough. These structures are called fibers, and are so stable they need a special enzyme to be broken down in it's smaller glucoses. The unstable way of stacking glucose is glucogen. It's a single chain of glucoses, all stacked in a way which strips them of being tpugh but makes them more readily availible. Can also be stacked as starch, which is formed like branches.
Now, I bet you are familiar with the notion that excess sugar is transformed into saturated lipidic acids which are then stored under the skin. The cow, gorilla, and every herbivore does the same thing as the human does but with a different source of sugar. Now, breaking down plant fibers is no easy task and it takes a lot of time and energy, due to it being so stable. Cows are also called rumiants, because they have this sack in their mouths to store half eaten pasture to chewing on it to break it down as much as possible so it's more easily digestible. They take hours chewing on that shit, that's how hard is to metabolically extract glucose from plant fibers.

Because a number of symptoms are caused by declining estrogen levels and fluctuating hormones, this can help stabilize the body's estrogen levels.

I've been practicing MMA for 6 years simultaneousely with boxing for 7 years, as well as body-building for 4 years, 6'2 for 190 lbs.

I have a crazy velocity, and reflexes equal to my speed. I just have to wait for it to charge me and then dodge and bitch-slap it in the head. I won't let it go at the slightest mistake that gorilla's over. You'll always have virgins to think that is impossible. But nothing is impossible with willingness my friends, and secondly, it's not with your wobbly carcasses that you'll ever be doing anything.

Any man with a minimum of training can defeat a gorilla with a knife. With barehands it's not necessarily more complicated it only demands skill.

    >The Belgian Superior Health Council warns for a risk of various nutrient deficiencies (protein, EPA/DHA, vit D and B12, Fe, Zn, I, Ca), increasing with dietary restrictiveness. Vegan diets are not recommended for pregnant and lactating women and their infants and children (<3 y), as they 'likely do not meet nutritional requirements'. Due to the often elevated consumption of certain foods, the Council also warns for an increased exposure to problematic food components, including acrylamide, heavy metals, pesticides, mycotoxins, arsenic (in algae and rice), and - arguably - phyto-oestrogens
