    Realistically though, unless they've been lifting for years and you're pushing solid numbers (or unless theyre really tall), most people would probably be skinny fat at over 80kg. Most of these guys bragging about being big boy weight can't even bench 1.5pl8 lmao

    It's not your overall weight you need to be looking at, it's muscle mass. I'm 82kg and can bench 2pl8 with perfect form for 6 reps, and actually look decent too. I've got a buddy who's the exact same weight as me, same height of 5'10" too, but he just looks like a blob of lard. And he's only just hit the first big milestone of benching 1pl8 for the first time. In his case, and same for other beginners, they'd look and feel better as well as be more athletic if they cut down to like 66-70kg. No point in being heavy if you're just a blob with no definition
