I can't speak to intentional weight loss, but picking up a Visual Novel habit helped me quit drinking, which in turn helped me drop a few pounds
How quickly did the pounds fall off after quitting drinking?
Wasn't anything dramatic if that's what you're hoping for, but I'm sure it helped in combination with eating better and working out more consistently due to a lack of hangovers

Recently I've been replaying Witcher trilogy, this time heavy on scoia'tael side. Now I'm playing Witcher 3 B&W dlc. This games probably will never bore me, I love this whole universe's setting, themes, complexity of characters, of what is moral and how claiming to be neutral is a choice in itself. All 3 games are special for me and I like to come back to them once in a while (along with the books)
