I've been watching a lot of videos about water fasting results, and these guys got great results, like 10lbs in a week.
I've been in a water fast for 12 days and I only lost 4lbs.
What could possibly be happening?
Another thing: I don't feel hungry at all, and people on these videos are always complaining because they really feel like eating. that's not my case at all

Most people actually don't realise how dehydrated they actually are. Alot of them is because they drink so much fizzy drinks.
The only time your piss should be any colour other than yellow is your first piss of the day cause your detoxing.
But if your pissing in the middle of the day and it isn't clear it's because you've been building up more trash than should have been diluted with a healthy regular flow of toilet trips.
You get kidney stones from not pissing frequently cause all that shit ends up calcifying (forgot the proper term). Cause it's not supposed to be settling in your bladder for so long.
Think of it like a car engine and your not changing your oil at the recommended intervals

1 pound = 3500 calories
Daily burn for existing = 2000 calories
30 minutes of daily cardio = 400 calories
8 hours of sleeping = 400 calories
2800 / 3500 = 0.8 pounds a day if you fasted AND worked out.
Meaning to lose 20 pounds you would need to fast for 25 days.
Sleeping is counted as part of TDEE anon.
Everyday he burns about 2400 max, probably less since its winter and he'll have heaters on for thermoregulation.
So it'll be maybe 1lb every 3 days. So 12 days and 4lbs makes pretty good sense.

You most likely have to take a really big shit, but you aren't feeling it or experiencing bowel movements because you are fasting.
I had this happen to me before, although not as severe. Once I had my fast breaking meal + coffee, I shat like an 4 feet of poop out my ass.

How does long-term fasting even work? I mean, I've done no-carb OMAD and have no problem going all day on one meal with only mild discomfort. But doesn't it get physically painful at some point? Like, getting the shakes and not having the ability to focus?

OP I think the issue is your inactivity. The body is really good at holding on to its reserves as long as it doesn't need the energy.
Runs and light workouts should force it to empty the storages.

Started a fast on Wednesday. Planning to have my next meal on Saturday. I've done 24 to 40 hour fasts before but this is the longest I'll have done. Anything I should be aware of/be careful of?

Look OP, I hate to burst your bubble but you really need to temper your expectations. Losing 10 lbs a week, even if you ate nothing and ran several miles every day is essentially impossible. The body simply does not burn fat stores that quickly, remember, the goal of the body from an evolutionary point of view is to burn as little energy stores as possible. You also need to consider the possibility that you have lost more than 4 lbs of fat, yet have put on a couple pounds of water weight because you have begun drinking more water than you did before you began your fast.
