Wfh

As a wfh fricker how do i get and stay lean/fit?
Is something like this good enough:
>every 1 hour I do 20 of each sit ups, push ups, squats

For like 8x a day. And not eat any shit food unless weekends. Is that enough?

If you have any ideas for a similar routine id be interested to hear, maybe something more optimal? Because my muscles will be rly sore after day one and ill maybe alternate some days

I can rn max do 10 pullups, 20push ups, 35 sit ups 30 squats or so

whenever you end your shift you take the time you saved on commuting and go for a 1-2 hour walk
and you go to the gym 3 times a week and lift on top of that
wfh has been amazing for my mental and physical health

yeah WFH is the route to fit life. would you rather commute hours to sit on your arse for 8 hours or sit on your arsenal for 8 hours then have the commuting time free to work out?

this isn't the issue OP thinks it is

Id like that, but gym is quite a drive away for me. Well a normal one anyway.
Or rly expensive, like 60€ per month because it has a pool.
I either need to sacrifice an hour to commute to gym, or sacrifice 60€ per month to go to a mid gym thats 15min from me one way. Still id be losing 2hrs a day to go there thats why id prefer an in home routine

WFH destroyed my soul. I cannot believe that I say this but being locked in with fellow wagies for 8 hours a day is somehow less soul crushing than knowing your job doesn't fricking matter and you don't talk to people for weeks on end.
It's like beeing a NEET who gets paid.

I concur but you also have to realize how fricking triggering it is for the wagies to hear people complain about it, kek

Gym takes too much time. Id need to commute and shit would take like 2hrs of my day.

Id rather spend that time doing almost anything else.

So i think ill just try some prison routine in my “cell” in between some hours while working

Well you don't need to do it every day
If you can't set aside 5/6 hours a week to exercise then you're not going to get in shape

Desk treadmill. I have one - have figured out I cam completely ignore 2.4mph at 7% incline for hours a day. Made a diy kensui style harness so I can add weights, am pushing the limits of what the treadmill will suffer now - burn about 600 cal an hour and I swear I'm building calves and booty from the Neverending Uphill Story.

    >some bizzare pissbrained 'program' that'll get you no where and won't be an entertainable routine anyways
just get a fricking barbell and get excited about lifting it, the rest will come naturally.

I think this idea is potentially a lot of garbage volume. It will keep you from being sedentary and you should be getting up every hour or so to move around, but it doesn't have to be this. You are going to get similar, if not better results if you just set aside 30-45min a day that was going to go to your commute and use that to do a dedicated full body workout. Honestly the kboges guy is right up your alley as it's more of the keep it simple, fitness as daily routine stuff. Push, pull, legs is fine if you're doing body weight every day and just looking to stay active. Obviously there's a lot of focus on aesthetics and lifts, but if you aren't currently doing anything you should just start with establishing discipline, routine, and getting your overall fitness in check. You don't need bodybuilding right now, you basically need muscular hygiene.

Diet should honestly be the least off your issues. You have an opportunity to control the vast majority of your meals, from content to quantity, as well as whatever eating schedule you want. Slow cooker, air fryer, are your your friends for meal prep. The biggest single piece of advice is to do your TDEE calculation for sedentary. Despite planning on daily workouts, you are spending the vast majority of your day sitting.

When working from home I do my workout at the end of my day. I have problems closing the lap top lid and walking away from work, so I use it create a mental separation between work and personal.

      This is fked
      >count calories
I rly hate that part, i can sorta feel when ive had too much to eat, like my body is warmer and its like i feel like i want to move more and have excess energy.
But i ignore this feeling since the cravings especially when after work before weekend i eat pack of crisps and then want sweets and coke and so on….

I need to tackle this also but my reasons for getting fit keep getting lost.

Bro, here's what's going to happen if you just do the plan at the top. Right now you can already do the majority, if not all of the reps you've decided in your workout. You will have a lot of volume over the course of a day, which is good. That will help, over time, to build strength and you will also be moving, which is better than sitting down. However since you can already do those reps, you will not be pushing your endurance or mental limits. You will not see much, if any cardiovascular benefit. You will get disheartened because the lack of change or results in addition to the constant volume will make it feel like a chore. The excess volume will build up your fatigue and if unmanaged will impact your ability to do the task, causing you to falter.

On the food side, you literally have the ball in your court. You decide what food is in your house, its not like Ronald McDonald is your roommate. You need to remove candy, soda, potato chips, and similar stuff from your grocery budget. I personally have a terrible sweet tooth, so I have to avoid bringing muffins, pastries, cookies, etc home. I find healthier alternatives or I go with out. I still have those things occasionally, but a big factor is they aren't in my home so I cannot eat them out of boredom. I cannot stress enough how much difference there will be just learning to like sugar free seltzer water and granola will be over chips and soda.

You are looking to change your fricking life. Why would you think that's possible without any actual changes?
