I'm bulking right now and I've planned out all my week-to-week meals. I'm going to meet my macro goals for proteins and fats, so I'm left to eat as many carbs as I can fit into my remaining day-to-day calories. What are some healthy food options for pure carbohydrates? What are your favorites?
fruits and veggies
oatmeal; ideally steel cut oats
quinoa
beans; whichever you like the most
all you need
forgot rice
Bread
Potatoes are probably the most complete carb nutritionwise.
Might as well ask what's the least addictive kind of heroin
Lmao ketolards are so dramatic
jk jk I'm a big fan of spelt and oatmeal, not much of a tayto man because it takes slightly longer to cook them and they call for butter imo so I just avoid them most of the time
what a ketarded thing to say
Grains like whole grain bread, rice, oats, or malted barley
Fruits like raspberries, blackberries, bananas, or kiwis
Vegetables like potatoes, sweet potatoes, or peas
Your body doesn't know the difference between "healthy" and "unhealthy" foods, it just cares about objective things like whether its slow or fast metabolizing and micronutrient profile
Why did we ban trans fat then?
fragile masculinity
Caused atherosclerotic lesions in animals and was associated with heart disease in humans. Ironically trans fat containing vegetable oils are more stable than the alternatives we use now
i replaced rice today with cracked whole wheat
double protein, less kcals
White rice
>healthy carb
