This is no different than gym thots obsessing over outfits except unlike gym thots, no one is ever going to notice or care what you're wearing at the gym. You're wasting your money and twisting up your self understanding at the same time

Do people actually wear those? I went to the eye doctor to try some out one time and made a total fool out of myself because I couldn't keep my eyes open to put one in. I hear they're a b***h to take out too.

I’ve worn them for a decade, no issues yet. I even wear them overnight, you just gotta get the better ones for a little more money. I find as long as I take them out for a few hours and overnight every couple days it’s no problem. And even if you don’t the only issue I’ve noticed is your eyes get used to them and it feels weird/dry without them (if you’ve been wearing them too long without a break)
                >hard to take out
With just a little practice they’re extremely easy to take out, putting them in is slightly more difficult but also becomes routine. Your mileage may vary based on eye size and sensitivity but I’ve done it so much it only takes like 1 min to do.

Assuming you started out a lanklet, you have made a very difficult natty transformation. Mad resoect, bro.

Most lanklets come here to complain that they cant gain muscle even tho they eat a full bowl of Lucky Charms every morning, and then proceed to defend their refusal to eat anything else and any amount that could possibly contribute to muscle gain.

Well you’re wrong, any lift where you need to draw from the legs you’re going to get more power with shoes on and it would moronic to state otherwise, plus the sole can help out with balance so you can lift more at the expense of stabilising muscles

        Anonymous__

All these shoes have lifted heels, which fricks your balance and reduces max power. Look at what actual power lifters wear. The soles are thin an perfectly flat.

flat shoes with hard soles (chucks, vans, barefoot, work boots, etc) are better for power delivery and stability than any kind of running or other padded shoe
      squat/oly shoes make squat easier

its amazing how people dont understand that the entire design of a running shoe is the opposite of what you want for lifting

  6. 8 months ago

If you have a pair of formal shoes with a leather heal, those usually have a solid for lifting with a mild .5" heel for more stable squats. You can use an old pair of Oxfords or something.

Is Sean O'Malley overrated? Aside from a front kick or a 2, nothing he does is particularly noteworthy. He got out-leg kicked by a midget in Yan. His hooks are night and day to his straights because they might be the slowest punches at bantamweight while his straights might be the fastest. His fancy shit only works on cans.
