Ring muscle up (achieved with false grip)
120kg snatch
145kg C&J
+10kg muscle up
3pl8 front squat (achieved)
4pl8 back squat
+60kg dip for 5 reps (achieved)
90kg strict press
Freestanding handstand
They are my goals for the year. 3pl8 front squat is a milestone that I expected to hit early in the year. I want to hit 145 clean and jerk by the end of the year.
- lose weight to below 80kg and keep it there(85 at 179cm now)
- bench 70kg 3x10 (doing 60kg now)
- start doing pullups again without fricking my elbow
- keep the consistency
45yo lifter with family. Just make a weekly schedule and attach yourself to it no matter what. At certain age all that we have is discipline given all the stuff surrounding us.
You got this, bro.

Haha, 40+ lifter with family here. I have similar aims: keep my weight controlled, get ready for a half marathon, keep very persistent with the gym.
>work from away in a smaller city for a month to figure out if I want to relocate for a slower pace of life and to be closer to friends and family >two-week safari in tanzania >reach a net worth of $2.4M >pay off my home >retire at 34 >prep for a two-week through hike trip >prep for a trip to patagonia and buenos aires >figure out if I want to through hike the pacific crest trail in 2026 >pick up rock climbing with my wife >maintain my 1/2/2.5/3.5 >get my 5km time under 20 minutes >get my half marathon time under 1:50
My goals for this year:
* Get to and retain 10% body fat (or lower, potentially)
* Be able to do at least 2 one arm pullups in a set
* Get swoler in general
trying to get abs lean
then followed by glorious slow bulk into 100kg OHP. my weight is down from 87kg to 78kg since early October and dieting feels pretty easy still. e1rm OHP around 85kg.
>Bought a property last year, appreciated 90k >Maintaining a 3pl8 bench
This year I wanna hit 13% body fat and still be benching 3pl8. I also am going on a bunch of back country adventure routes on my KLR. Just working out, saving money, Nd smashing college pussy bro
I'm going to final pop soon. Hopefully I can get back to normal weight soon after. I'm so tired of being fat, people touching me without my permission, waddling, not seeing my toes, these stupid fricking hormones that make me cry over pickles. I get to look forward to my ripples being gnawed on, but at least I won't look like a fat fricking balloon any more
I'm gonna finish my last semester strong, and then I can figure out my life after that. I've made it this far, I can make it through literally three months
RAHHHHHH IM GONNA MAKE IT
Phase 1: >Max out my 40 kg adjustable dumbbells on dumbbell front squat >Build enough core strength to be able to barbell squat without instant hernia risk >Look like I at least lift a little by Midsummer >Keep up tennis while taking up martial arts to help get over my fear of conflict as well as train me to do bagwork for cardio >Boulder occasionally
Phase 2: >Hit the gym for dat dere barbell training in September >The same gym has yoga and bouldering, so do those as much as possible >Step up Tennis to twice a week >Do more martial arts if needed for psychology or just fun >I'll probably have to go for a two day lifting program for this to work but frick it >It's not mega likely that I'll be able to do all this and go from 2pl8 to 3pl8 squat even if I eat like a horse since I'm 32 but I want to fricking get there
The general themes are to fill my free time with as much sports and lifting as possible because I fricking hate days only spent in front of the screen, to actually look good, and to work on my psychological stuff. I have the capacity to do socially unacceptable shit in front of people and next to no stage fright, but it's all connected to some "allowed/not allowed" switch in my head that I'm not in control over myself. I need to unfrick that shit and always allow myself to do whatever it is that I need and to take greater risks. It's getting late, I don't want this shit do be my destiny for the rest of my life. Considering LSD or shrooms as a supplement to journaling and meditation.
Get lean for the beach so my wife gets horny enough for me that I can get away with a few spicy sex requests and insecure enough to lose a few pounds. Bonus if I can get the pretty neighbor lady cruising for a 3some with us.
>buy a property
>get fit again
>get another gf and lovingly lick her butthole

You're gonna need 160-170kg front squat for that and that's gonna require more than a 180kg back squat

Squat 200kg. No belt. No wraps. No shoes. I keep hitting 180kg each week so in a month I’ll push 190kg.

Work out at least 2x per week.
Make a first demo of my video game.
Continue learning a foreign language.
Get a raise or change jobs.
Stay sober, get lean, get laid, get money, make & release music
I want to unfrick my shoulders
My goals are to lean out a bit and add an inch to my arm size
Not get injured
