you need to try variations of curls, I'm kind of like that with hammer curls but straight barbell I can feel much better for example. If your gym has some sort of bicep machine I would try that it helps keep constant tension and improve mind-muscle connection from my experience

Just prioritise getting strong on compounds, train between 5-30 reps, and progressively overload. Don't be afraid to incorporate barbell work into your routine if you have one available, especially for lower bodyn. Also make sure you train your side delts since calisthenics alone is ineffective at hitting them.
Anything between 5-30 reps produces about the same amount of hypertrophy as long as they are taken equally close to failure. Lower reps means more adaptation for strength and higher reps means more adaptation for endurance.
The lower you go in reps the easier it is to get close to failure, but it requires more recovery time and takes longer. 3 sets of 10 and 10 sets of 3 are the same amount of volume but 10x3 takes much longer. Alternatively very high reps can be mentally taxing because of the high lactic acid buildup causing your muscles to burn, and it takes longer to get close to failure, so you will be suffering a lot more during the set.
So generally a good rep range recommended to most people is 8-12
