Salt and pepper? Mustard? Dunno. I gave up on hard-boiled eggs and now just eat them raw.

If you're looking to keep your caloric intake down-
mustard, hot sauce and black pepper is a good option-
Chop the eggs up and mix it together like an egg salad.

If you're bulking and just looking to get your protein in I would suggest taking the time to make a big omelette w/ cheese.

Another trick is frying lets say a dozen at a time, sunny side up and drizzling each egg with olive oil.
You can literally swallow the eggs whole this way.

Thanks, anon. I thought mustard was very caloric dense but I'll give it a try. Eating boiled eggs everyday without anything gets boring.

No mustard is a old school bodybuilding secret lol.
You can easily find mustard in the grocery store that is like 5 calories per serving and doesn't have shit ingredients.

hot sauce is moronic. If you want "hot" add a little cayenne pepper powder or paprkia poder. But just salt is usually good enough. Black pepper is a real complex flavor if you let it be.. Make egg salad with just mustard is a great idea.

It's quite simple, stop hard boiling the yolk, that's where all the flavor is

i've been eating 4 eggs, some times only 3, every single fricking day for the past 2 years
        i always cook then runny
        >if boiled, boil for 5 to 5:30 minutes if medium eggs, 6 min if large
        >if fried, fry with the pan covered on the lowest heat possible until the whites around the yolk turn white then fricking get that shit out of the pan asap
        >if omelet, mix that shit while cooking in the pan until it's like a paste, then leave it a little bit like 10 seconds then get it the frick out of the pan and thats it
simple as and i always get that yummy runny shit right on the money

To achieve the slightly "wet" looking yolk, not runny but as the other anon said, gooey and gummy and DELICIOUS, I use a smaller pot so as to crowd the eggs together. This prevents them from each getting overcooked and prevent them from jostling around too much. You also need to reduce the heat to the point that it doesn't jostle them around too much. Salt is almost necessary to eat them though, as they'll parch all the moisture in your mouth, and the salt causes the salivation necessary, and amplifies the goodness. Lightweight to midweight salting on the outside in a bowl, spin the eggs around the bowl to coat, and then once you bite to the yolk, salt the inside by sprinkling more or by wiping it on the bowl. Boom. You is an espert nah.

Also, forgot to mention, place them all into a bowl of cold water when done, no need for ice, just sink cold. Then crack them by the base, I like to press into and crack a line down the side of the shell, and then pick away from that line. It's easiest done underwater or under a lightly running faucet.

Perfect texture: Don't boil them, STEAM them. 10 minutes and 30 seconds then immediately into an ice bath. They peel easy af, and have that nice soft/moist yolk.

Flavor: Just about any spices with salt. I like to do creole, cajun, or chili powder spice mixes and salt.

Another tasty option is Korean style marinated eggs: 1/4 cup onions sauce, 1/4 cup water, tbsp rice vinegar, chopped up green onions, minced garlic and ginger, minced hot pepper or pepper flakes. Mix that shit up, peel your eggs, and put it all in a jar and let them soak overnight. Increase the onions/water/vinegar if doing larger batches. Add a little honey or brown sugar to the marinade IIFYM.

      5/5/5 method:
      Pressure cook for 5 minutes.
Sit in slow release for 5 minutes.
Release pressure then put them in cold water for 5 minutes.
This will do a hard boiled. For a softer yoke release sooner, like 1 minute. Everything else the same.
