most things you buy were produced and sold with the goal to maximize profits, so obviously there is always some sort of contamination. I guess spring water in glass bottles can be okay sometimes.

I boil tap water, make tea and coffee with it (both with the same water), then bottle it and drink it.
I only drink water, black coffee & bourbon. Seems to work for me.
