Not true. There is no way to stand that shit, it's a fricked up situation, it's not healthy and that's it.

I work as a chef and I'm on my feet for 10 hours at a time. At my heaviest I weighed around 350 pounds and was still doing that. I lost a bunch of weight and started doing some stretching for my low back and legs and I was fine. You're a genuine pussy if you can't be on your feet for an 8 hour shift

Black person half of the workforce is standing on there feet. being a security guard standing in one spot is entirely different.

OP: if you want to make 8 hour standing easy. try to stand the renaming 16 hours as well. after a while 8 hours will be peanuts.

It never gets better, it's not natural to pace forwards and backwards in one small spot for 8 hours. Walking for 8 hours yes. Standing and pacing, no. Aim to get a better job

make sure that your posture is good, and get some comfortable shoes if you don't have them already. when I worked a similar job, I also got some gel inserts that provided a bit more cushioning for my feet. these should probably make things a bit more tolerable for you, but standing around for 8 hours is probably never going to be very enjoyable, unfortunately
