Liked them until the charging case stopped working after ~6 months. Liked them enough and thought that was a fluke, so got another pair and it happened again. Now I'm using Sony CF500 and I like them. Only criticism so far is the button is a tad sensitive, so I'll sometimes accidentally pause while I'm adjusting it in my ear.
It’s sweat and grease getting into the contacts. Take a q tip and dab it with your tongue then clean the contacts. Use the dry side of the q tip to clean your spit after and the headphones charge again. I was on the verge of buying new headphones and did this and it worked. Use rubbing alcohol if the spit thing weirds you out I guess.. b***h
airpods pros
worth it honestly, best wireless headphones i've had. great noise cancelling, almost too good, kind of annoying having to take them completely out to have a conversation.
Do NOT get the piece of shit Beats Fit Pro. I have some and they don't stay in your ear and quickly fall out if you are doing anything like running. Also, if you sweat a lot it fricks with the sound quality. They also do not last long. The fabric that exists between the rubber piece that fits in your ear and the insides of the earphone quickly gets ruined by (normal amounts of) sweat and earwax. You can't replace this if you try! Worst $200 I ever spent.
Get yourself a pair of 3M WorkTunes Connect Wireless Hearing Protectors instead
Jabra Elite 85t
They have superior sound quality and their ANC is so effective that I often catch myself on talking to myself realising I'm not alone in a shop/public transport etc
Soundcore life dot 2
Anker stuff always makes me feel like i get my moneys worth, one of the few brands I'm consistently pleased with and more than willing to pay full price for.
I've had the xm3s for just over 3 years now and they've been great, amazing sound quality for earbuds. unfortunately one of the earbuds has broken recently and plays 4x quieter than the other one. I'd expect a newer model of these would also be great.

i just had to replace my workout earbuds because they were destroyed in the storm surge in hurricane ian (along with almost all of my other shit). I had the sony WF-Sp800N (their final “workout” buds)
i just bought the sony linkbud S yesterday (which are $50 off this weekend at best buy). I’ve been researching for months and those seem to be the best option, only picked them over the XM4’s because of the big price difference and no complaints about the size whereas some people said the xm4s are too big for running
>Anyone got Sony wf1000-xm4's? Want to know if they be gud or not
I'm rocking the WF1000-XM4's. They're great, but make sure you wait until they're on sale for $200 instead of the usual $275-300 price.
They're feature rich and have excellent sound. My biggest issue with them is that the noise canceling, while decent, is a little meh as a technology.
Note that for running i invested in a pair of Shockz. Not because of the gimmick ear bone thing, but because its so hard to find a good headset that stays in place while running
love em, I use them in all weather for weight lifting plus runs, anywhere from 5-15km.
Lots of features like auto-pause and activate the mics so you can hear ambient sounds if talking,
auto-change settings based on your location
great stability (I upgraded to Spinfit tips)
excellent sound quality and adjustment ability (audiogay here)
excellent battery life
battery case has Qi charging
Jabra Elite 3's are pretty good. Affordable, sit well in your ears without falling out and their noise cancelling is quite good even though they don't have active NC.
I had those my fren but switched to Elite 85T and they're about three times better in any way besides battery consumption.

I use a pair of dirt cheap tozos, they stay in while running you don't notice the bad sound or whatever if you're listening at a normal volume and not hitting the cap. Their rage is is what you'd expect for bluetooth. They have unexceptional battery life but I've never ran them low enough to notice even with 3 hour walks still have 20% when I get home. My only complaint about them is they're really finicky with how you attach them to charging base because they're pins so have to be gentle and not just let them zip in there under the force of the magnet.
Go to IST, go to /iemg/, and find a quality pair for around $70-$100. Make sure it has a detachable cable, and that the cable is metal and multiple cores twists together.
https://www.scarbir.com/truewireless
found this on IST, audiophiles are known to be some of the most autistic tech consumers so I would trust this chart, bought my mom soundcore life p3
I have the Sennheiser CX and I wouldn't recommend them because they have no buttons. There's is no tactile feedback and you pause music or exit calls way too often by accident.
they're legit the best wireless headphones on the market.
sound quality, noise cancellation, ergonomics, battery life, everything. you're a fricking loser.
Except they're literally not. Out of the half dozen articles I skimmed through, Sony WF-1000XM4 and Bose QuietComfort are consistently the top. Airpods are rarely top 3.
You're just an Apple soiboi brand prostitute/moron. Literally the only reason people buy Apple products is because they value social acceptance over quality - a tell-tale sign of an NPC is if they have an iPhone
Sony WF-1000XM4 are earbuds and Bose QuietComfort come in both headphones and earbuds you dumbass incel hahahaha wow congrats on BTFOing yourself you stupid frick
What are cheap earbuds if you're a poorgay? So far gathering from this thread it seems like the Jabra ones are cheaper but still a lot for my budget.
I don't wanna listen to my shitty gym music anymore.
Got the Sony WH-1000XM5. Amazing noise cancelling, but I get concerned when using them at the gym as I am concerned the leather may get fricked due to sweating
Literally doesn't matter. Now it would be absolute cancer if I had to carry my phone on my person while connected to that cable. Instead I use a tiny $35 sandisk player that clips to my waistband and has tactile buttons, so I can change songs without even looking or dealing with a homosexualy touch screen. The downside is that player doesn't even have bluetooth, but that's fine. It's also very convenient when going on runs, and I clip it to my seatbelt to play music while driving.
It works out since you can get really nice IEMs with detachable/replaceable cables for under $100.
Does anyone else fricking hate the touch controls on earbuds? It seems like the smallest bit of water or sweat causes it to activate. Fricking stupidest feature for sorts/waterproof/sweatproof earbuds
Powerbeat pros. Hate to shill for beats, but they work great and the wrap around ear band is super nice for whatever you're doing
Cheers for the response man.
Anybody else want to chime in before I make a purchase?
I have AirPods second generation but the new AirPods Pro 2 are way better

got them on sale and have been working great since

the beats ones are pretty good too honestly.
apple wired headphones if you're a poorgay (please tell me you have an iphone). they're honestly really good headphones.
Blue tooth only sorry, what's another option?
Xiaomi airdots. Just be careful aboot fakes; I couldn't believe so many fakes existed for such cheap headphones
Got samsung galaxy bud pro2. Bretty good
What's a poorgay option?
Search for a chink company like Xiaomi, haylou, etc. They are cheap and work great for the gym but they usually go to shit in less than a year
Seconding the wired apple earbuds, literally $18 on Amazon rn.

Second on the Jabra. Very happy with mine.

I don't use any. My gym is blasting music anyway.
What if it blasts sex music
Great for my workout
>listening to the gyms music
gigachad moment
>pre-owned in ear headphones
The frick bro?
Pixel buds they're awesome, you can tap to ff or rewind, long tap to use Google assistant.
I just got some Pixel Buds a few days ago and they've been pretty great. I can tell when the ANC kicks in because all the gym noise vanishes.
AirPods (got them as a gift from my dad when he upgraded to the AirPod Pros) and Sony WH-1000XM4s for over-the-ear headphones

$8 (cad) earbuds from the gas station.
The galaxy buds never fall out for me and sound good. Well balanced.
I have the gen 1 without anc but they should all be good
Bose sport, blows is overpriced garbage 90% of the time but these are actually pretty good.
Airpods pro 2. I know it's overpriced but I can't say I regret buying them. 6 hours + nice noise control, worth it

the Nothing brand ones or 1st gen AirPods if you have an iPhone
The nothing ones seem more expensive than Jabra. I have an Android.
CCA CRA
Huawei freebuds 4i
Just some cheap wired canalphones. Getting harder to find decent wired, even harder to find wired without controls or mic on the cord.
Airpods. I'm not a huge apple fan, but my ears can't fit any in ears into them and I can do a handstand with airpods without them falling out
SoundCore liberty buds 3 pro. Good in ear true wireless buds. Nice anc and sound especially if you calibrate it with the hearing test in the app
>picrel on roons
>nothing in the gym (quiet homegym master race)
>Shure SE215 when I'm actually listening to music
The basic wireless headphones that come with a Samsung phone. Works on my machine.
Got the Sony WH-1000XM5. Amazing noise cancelling, but I get concerned when using them at the gym as I am concerned the leather may get fricked due to sweating
People who unironically wear headphones to the gym are 100% of the time DYEL zoomers
No, you are not like whatever e-celeb you see wearing them.
???
They're the only headphones I have, didn't know I was some LARPER for wearing them to the gym. My fricking bad sir.
i have airpods pro i got for free from work
they are great even with my android
Don't use them
Airpods are the biggest NPC telltale
moondrop are audiophile quality for cheaper than beats or airpods
