Sounds about right. I am 5'8" and occasionally I'll be told either that I look 5'10" or 5'6", and be thought of as either average or a bit short. One of my exes had a little-death moment when I corrected her after she said I was 5'10" looking at some Tiktok about dude's heights. I have a buddy that's 5'5" and he always gets "little guy" jokes. I think 5'6"-5'7" is where it's immediately noticeable, and 5'8" is where people still notice but only when they're looking for it.
