a barbell
100lbs+
>40kg with good non swingy form for 8-10 reps is pretty good
Idk maybe 80lbs, regardless I like to workout behind guys who do this exercise. I can always tell whose a closet dick muncher by how well they arch their back. Some guys have no arch and are straight but there's some guys who arch like pornstars in heat doing these
that's pretty gay of you
No. It's only gay if my wieners in your ass and your face down with your elbows flared out moaning while I'm spanking your ass and stretching out your bussy with long strokes. Anything else is heterosexual
At what distance of face from butt does it go from homosexual to hetero?
It's just the position. Missionary? Not gay. Doggy style? Gay. Oral on your knees? Not gay. Oral while you're laying down. Gay
I do them 4x8 with 35kg/77lbs.
But I'm a moron that neglected Rows for years and did mostly Pullups and Chin Ups.
Just do a pendlay row you homo
I do them at like 65-70 lbs for 5 sets of 10-12 reps
I find that straps make 0 difference on one arm DB rows if it's the first exercise I'm doing. My grip seems to be equal to my back strength.
And I think it's similar for lat pulldowns/pullups/chinups.
This is obviously not the case for deadlifts and RDLs.
Currently, I'm at 50 with 4 sets of 10-12. I don't consider myself strong or jacked by any means.
i do 42.5kg 10x15 with good form, is that good
who cares
normies only care what you bench
>t.
alphadestiny
>without the gay straps
why? are you training your grip or your back?
Both
why don't you isolate both of them and work them separately like you do for everything else instead of stunting your back growth because of a small muscle?
>Why don't you isolate both
Because the body has too many muscles to isolate everything if efficient compounding is an option. It definitely doesn't matter if you're not near a plateau in either.
>Like you do for everything else
Zozzle
>just isolate everything
god bodybuilders are so moronic. this is how you end up out of proportion and with no real functional strength to show for your size.
if you're doing such high weight that you have a problem holding onto the dumbbell then you're clearly not strong enough to be rowing that weight in the first place
the only reason someone would be using straps for dumbell rows is if they're egolifting or if their grip is pathetically weak, probably from using straps unnecessarily
Maybe that’s true if you’re rowing baby weights I’d like to see you hold on to a 150lbs dumbbell
Well yeah a noob using straps to row 60lb dumbells is big time moronic. But if you're moving real weight, you barehand your warmup sets and then when you get up to the 110s or 120s you strap up.
I'm only doing chest support rows now, I'm at 75s for 10-12
Who gives af it's a dumbbell row. No one cares about isolation lift weight.
structural balance. eyeballingbyour own muscles is not reallybreliavle. by comparing ratio of leg extension to leg curl or ratio between bench press and external shoulder rotation you can spot individyals with structural imbalances who are at heightened risk of injury. imo dumbbell row Kroc style should ve around of what you ohp. one powerlifting trainer had his trainees do cheat wows wih one end of loaded deadlift bar as accessory....
>isolation lift
>dumbell row
20kg
Who cares. Also, if your goal is to build your back rather than making rows a forearm exercise, use straps (train grip separately)
>kneeling on the bench
How are your hernia gains coming along?
is this shit for real? I my first instinct was to put a knee on the bench but changed it to just the hand after watching an athleteanx video about it. not sure if he is making shit up but I dont want to risk it.
Yes it's real and the proper form is simply straddling the bench. Use one hand to lean on the bench and keep both feet on the floor either side of it.
So what is the proper form on DB Row?
the third mystery Black person option.
Feet planted on ground, arm on something forward, other arm down
Just watch eric bugez videos where he's going apemode on some heavy ass dbrows
STOP you will get a hernia
60kgx3 is my best so far but I usually do 50 7x3
Why bother going so heavy on db Row. 3 reps? Why
I’m working on 1arm pull-ups so I want to max rows. But like I said I usually do 7 reps for 3 sets of 50
It is not respectable to try to judge your strength from a fricking DB Row my dude. Way too subjective what form is acceptable.
