    You have to do cardio. 3/4 sessions a week, each an hour long.

    eat less than maintenance calories. keep lifting so you don't lose muscle. cardio 2 or 3 times a week, to activate fat burning machinery in your body. doesn't matter what kind of cardio, but the more intense it is the less amount of time you have to spend doing it, e.g. if you're just walking then you have to walk like 45 minutes for each bout of cardio, but running you can get away with 15 minutes.

    HIIT cardio but you can only do it a few times a week so LISS cardio to fill the gaps

    Cardio and eating less. If you generally eat 2500 calories a day, you should try for 1500-2000, along with a lot of cardio. It can be running, brisk walking, stairmaster etc.

    Swimming is the best way to actively burn kcals, since your body is constantly heating up the water around you. It's also light on the joints and ligaments, so unlike running you don't get impact on your knees constantly.
