Mainstream advice is still low-fat, low-protein, high-carb, plant-based, no cholesterol, no saturated fat, etc.

If anything normies are getting worse advice than ever. Canada removed dairy from their food guide and changed the meat category to 'protein foods' to encourage subsistence on nuts and soya. Also opens the possibility to add bugs as a 'protein food'.

They can't admit that high blood pressure is caused by hyperinsulinemia because that would undercut the phama companies selling insulin injections. And if they gave people an effective way to cure high blood pressure (i.e. quit carbs) it would also harm sales of blood pressure medication.

low fat foods were pushed late 70s to early 80s by the moron called McGovern heading "The United States Senate Select Committee on Nutrition and Human Needs". It is after that that food manufacturers started replacing fat with sugar and low carb was pushed. this is where the obesity epidemic and the rise of CVD began. Keto has only become popular again in the early 90s only in the context of treating epilepsy which is does very well without any meds. mainstream keto picked up mid to late 2000s. now go be moronic somewhere else you low test homosexual.

thats great and at no point was Keto/Atkins/Banting mainstream in the 90s/80s. Low fat/high carb dominated and was the general advice given to the population and is exactly what everyone would regurgitate. trying to conjure some moronic reality where keto was mainstream and the reason for the obesity epidemic in the US is pretty pointless. again frick off and do your research.

I think we are talking past each other here.

Absent government intervetion people tend to do what works. Removing sugar and starches from the diet works for curing obesity. Heavy-handed propaganda has convinced people to do the opposite of what works. This propaganda came from the US government and large pharmaceutical and agricultural businesses.

Those of us who aren't easily swayed by authority still stick with what works.

The fattening effect of grains has been known since humans started eating grains.

You have no concept of the reality of nutrition. We feed grain to cattle because they have normally eat fibrous grasses and ferment that into short chain acids, so by gibing them low fiber starch instead of their natural low starch high fiber diet, it fattens them. Grains literally build modern society

I think people focus too much on the low fat recommendations themselves. I think it’s a safer bet that whoever got those recommendations published merely used them as part of a larger push to make tons of money on selling dirt cheap to make carb based goyslop to the public rather than the recommendations in and of themselves being responsible for the explosion in obesity rates. And along those lines why focusing solely on the fact that eating more carbs correlated with the rise rather than what type of carbs. If people were eating tons of boiled beans and even wheat berries I doubt there would have been a similar increase in fat people

What's the rationale behind including these foods?

        Anonymous

        >Eggs, meat
        Best source of protein
        >bread, bananas
Bread is easy source of carbs, and you definitely need to eat easy when on a bulk. I'll make eggs with bread or even burgers with bread. It's also affordable. Bananas are a great pre-workout snack to get energy, and also post-workout to get glycogen into your muscle. Although i only use it as a pre.

        >milk, whey
The most convenient way to get your protein. Might not have enough protein for the day? Put 500ml of milk with two scoops an hour before bed.

        >Pure chocolate
70% is best for this. Take only a small piece, peferably pre-packaged and take one daily to curb gravings. Flavanoids it contains are supposedly very healthy as well

        >potatoes
        The white mans rice

Why eat carbs at all? And if you're eating carbs why not milk? Animal foods are more nutritious and have less toxins.

Your stomach needs whole foods to digest imo. Less toxins depends on where you get your milk from.

No one can answer this. Just get carbs from milk, meat, eggs, and cheese. Frick the rest. Eating Bread? It's just oils. They dont even make it right anymore. Potatoes? What is this? A famine? If you're already eating other foods, this is a completely useless food that will spike your ghrelin.

Flavanoids it contains are supposedly very healthy as well

      >potatoes
      The white mans rice

      >veggies, salads
Think you know why. But never eat a salad without meat. The reason a salad doesn't fill is because you're supposed to eat it with meat and optionally potatoes.

have to recommend canned cod liver for this. Massive amount of vitamins and omega-3. It's like a cheaper pate that doesn't go bad in storage. I like to have it with crackers, spread it on sandwitches, or put it into tuna for more flavor.

When I use common sense and my memory to explain the bananas and cake its wrong though?
Let's go back to the origin of this posting string. You or some other Black person was talking about him eating bananas and cake, but I used my memory of him saying offhand once that he sometimes has cake on his son's bday (cause he isn't a total schizo) and the bananas could easily be for anyone else in his home; there it can easily be logically explained.
Meanwhile what common sense are you implying that you are using to come to some conclusion? Also what is that conclusion? You didn't answer my question, I still have no idea what you're even getting at.

                >Yeah he lost his license and it had nothing to do with whether or not he takes steroids or eats only meat

      >"Early in his Michigan tenure, Harbaugh pulled Speight aside and told him not to eat chicken, a protein that is considered fairly safe by nutritionists," Hayes wrote. "When Speight asked why, Harbaugh said, 'because it's a nervous bird.'"

On a ketogenic diet your blood cells live longer. HBA1c measures the blod cells lifetime exposure to glucose so despite having persistently low blood glucose the HBA1c can be elevated.

As far as I know this doesn't cause any health problems. It's just one of many health markers which need to be interpreted in the context of the diet being eaten.

        Anonymous

That is correct. Saturated fat impairs cellular insulin sensitivity while animal protein and saturated fat double clap pancreas. There’s a reason why type 2 diabetes is almost nonexistent among vegans in every weight category (although surely enough its prevalence does go up with obesity)

          Ezekiel 4:9
Also take for yourself wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt; put them into one vessel, and make bread of them for yourself. During the number of days that you lie on your side, three hundred and ninety days, you shall eat it. 10 And your food which you eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day; from time to time you shall eat it. 11 You shall also drink water by measure, one-sixth of a hin; from time to time you shall drink. 12 And you shall eat it as barley cakes; and bake it using fuel of human waste in their sight.”

13 Then the Lord said, “So shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.”

14 So I said, “Ah, Lord God! Indeed I have never defiled myself from my youth till now; I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has abominable[a] flesh ever come into my mouth.”

15 Then He said to me, “See, I am giving you cow dung instead of human waste, and you shall prepare your bread over it.”

16 Moreover He said to me, “Son of man, surely I will cut off the supply of bread in Jerusalem; they shall eat bread by weight and with anxiety, and shall drink water by measure and with dread, 17 that they may lack bread and water, and be dismayed with one another, and waste away because of their iniquity.

          >Be not among drunkards or among gluttonous eaters of meat, for the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty, and slumber will clothe them with rags.

yes, because everyone knows nobody is getting rich from owning and operating meat farms. they either operate at a loss or donate their profits to charity. it's only the plant companies that generate profit, ever.

Correct. Meat corporations desperately want to switch to selling soya slop because the profit margins on meat are far too slim.

Ranchers are barely profitable due to government regulations designed to funnel money into the hands of middlemen. And even with favourable regulation meat companies still make peanuts compared to plant-based corporations.

Yeah most of Cargill's profits come from selling fertilizer for plant-based foods. That's why they focus on growing that market instead of trying to promote meat. These meat companies don't care for the meat part of their businesses and would rather replace it with plant-based products.

Guy has been an athlete his whole life and trains hard regularly. He's challenged people to pay for a test to check if he's natty, and nobody has taken him up on the offer.

The idea that you can't put on good amounts of muscle after you're 40+ is just a symptom of how crappy your average person's diet and health is, and this is also coming from a culture where most of the fitness influencers are abusing drugs, so they think anyone who succeeds is also a drug user, with people like Scooby eating their traditional low-fat bodybuilder diet and needing to start steroids because their hormones are now fricked.

Carnivore/low-carb/keto is good for hormone regulation, which your average person is regularly fricking up. Just look at trannies when you want to see the result of your hormones being so out of whack you literally think you're the opposite sex. That's not healthy, or normal.

Keto is a fine diet but you can't do it indefinitely. I did keto until I got back into mountain biking. You can't do strenuous cardio activities on Keto. It will tank your energy.

Wrong. Zerocarb/keto is great for athleticism.

You can't get dehydrated on a LCHF diet. The body makes metabolic water from fat.

This is the most insane cope I've ever heard. Does it make sodium too? Because LCHF people have to supplement salt if they don't already liberally salt their foods since it changes how your body and kidneys handle water

This isn't true at all, I would bike and walk for 1 hour alternating every day on keto just fine.

I put an amount of hours towards working out that would freak you the frick out. I practice judo, kickboxing, go mountain biking, hiking, running, ride dirt bikes, do calisthenics, you name it. Nothing, I repeat, nothing, beats getting as close to zero carb as possible for working out. Nothing. It comes to a point that you feel like you could go on forever.

Zerocarb/carnivore is going to become big in sports soon. Random dudes are already winning national level competitions (e.g. Big10 decathlon, pic related) just by not eating carbs.

That's old news and I think Talbot wasn't that strict with the diet. Look at this motherfricker climbing El Capitan in record time without drinking any water nor eating any of the homosexual sugary shit carbeaters NEED to munch on every twenty minutes when doing things like this: https://www.mensjournal.com/news/world-record-yosemite-climber-meat-diet.

              >I guess they wanted to bury the lede.
You can bet your ass most people don't want to give carbs away. They're addicted and it's too convenient to eat them. Every person I meet in sports circles who asks me about diet freaks out when I tell them I do carnivore. They are incredibly afraid of "running out of energy"; they think they absolutely need to replenish sugar stores or else they're risking even death in some circumstances. It's moronic. Whenever I train with them and they go "dude, you're still eating no carbs? How the frick aren't you dead already" I get the widest shit-eating grin. But because all that I don't think it's going to be much more popular in the near future.

Anyone who wants to set a new record for that rock climb is now basically forced to eat a carnivore diet.

I saw a sports team recently dropped its nutritionist after a plant-based diet plan caused them to have a terrible season. What would happen if a different team hires a carnivore nutritionist? They will have the best season ever and set a new standard.

Competition will result in athletes trending toward carnivore unless top-down manipulation prevents it.

                >Competition will result in athletes trending toward carnivore unless top-down manipulation prevents it.
I don't know about that. If you add yet another stress-inducing factor to elite competition, you're either going to get too much stress, making athletes drop it eventually or suffer bad results, or very little adherence to the diet in most cases. Food is one of the hardest things for anyone to treat with strict discipline. I mean, you just have to look at what's the very first thing many athletes do after a match or a fight: feast on junk food. It's a way to get some quick gratification or reward. Many people try to alleviate anxiety by eating like shit, too. If you tell them they have to stick to eating nothing but meat, fish, and eggs for the entire season, they're going to be against it. Most people, anyways. But, yeah, it should take just one Tour de France team adopting the diet and getting better results to make the diet immensely more popular.

Can upload comparison pics if needed

    was 375 lbs
    now 200

Since there's two morons fighting in here Id like to share my experience with KETO and CICO
I lost the majority of the year weight with just keto, no calorie counting but I assume I was eating just below 2000 because of how filling it was
but I also kept going off it because cravings got the better of my fat ass, I also injured myself so all the weight loss was without working out, only daily 45 min walks sometimes twice a day
I always lost about 1 KG a week not counting calories and that eventually reduced to 0.5 and sometimes nothing, I had the "i can eat however much I want" mentality and that honestly did work but at one point it obviously didn't
earlier this year I was 250 (april)
decided to give keto another go but also strict CICO along with it, still no working out because back is fricked up
I lost more every week on average from April this year until late July (i've been 200 since then working on fitness now) than I did when I started at 375. roughly ~1.25 KGs a week.

Been off keto for 3 months now and it's imo better for the mental if this makes sense because I just count my calories and still get in what I want but I do struggle far more eating higher in protein now without having to rely on protein shakes/supps whereas on Keto it was very easy for me to eat 175+ grams of protein.

Out of my own experience: Keto is superior to start with as an obese person but the moment you want to lift, work out and not feel like you're in a food jail anymore switch to carbs CICO, working out on Keto was impossible id nearly pass out 25 minutes into my workouts (before I injured myself)

    hope this helps fighting anons!

It can take months to get fully fat adapted. Or your electrolytes are depleted from peeing them out when your insulin levels dropped. Could be a combination of both.

Get salt, potassium, and magnesium. And stick with it until your body is maximally fat adapted.

The reason why people are so fat, unhealthy and moronic has nothing to do with eating carbs or grains but with the fact they are eating an over abundance of them while also not exercising.

if you want to eat an 'ancestral diet' why not follow the ways of tye ladt hunter gatherers living in their wild territories? They eat 60 percent wild tubers (fibrous potatoes) 15 percent pure honey, small gake with organs and some berries. They get 15k steps per day, with one hour of vigorous activity. They do not get western diseases. They do not eat youtube meme supplement salesman diets, they do not fast, they do not eat one meal per day. They burn the same amount of calories as your average amerislop sitting on the couch due to constrained energy expenditure. All proven with doubly labeled water studies, read 'Burn'

I don't care what some Black person in some african shithole eats. in northern europe you'll find frickall in forests and are completely reliant on meat outside of a short window when berries and mushroom are available. Unless you are some pajeet streetshitter or a nog carnivore is the only choice unless you really think youll be eating tubers, honey and berries from october to april in a frozen hellhole. now take your fricking stawman and frick off.

OK so your position is that naked humans stalked down their prey for hours on end, bare feet in the snow. And beat then to death with their bare hands? After all spears and clothing isn't natural.
