I want one of these. But taller. Do they make a pair that is easily collapsible but sturdy? I want to buy one to take to the gym since my gym doesn't have any dip bars
I live in america. We have dip bars but it's those stupid bars with the angle then there is the center stand so you can't do L sit dips.
The other dip bar is on a pull up/dip assist machine and not only does it also have a center console, but the dip bars have a bend in them making then awkward to use
you'd only really need a set of small parallettes to aid in planche progression. who said it was going to be easy? larger parallettes aren't going to be some magic bullet that get you there quicker. between those and rings are sufficient. you can at least work on the foundational skills and strength needed for planche, which is a pretty advanced skill for a non-gymnast. how are your handstands?

Tuck practice is much easier when you're not 3 inches from the ground. The increased height also let's you practice swing planches and planche negatives. Haven't started training free handstands but I can hold a good wall stand for about a minute

all of these things can be done between parelettes and rings. okay maybe they're a little easier at first at elevation - but otherwise that won't hinder your progression. the kinds of skills you're talking about here - particularly the swings - would be sketchy as frick on a pair of collapsable parallels. It's not worth the injury.
i recently got one of these for free.
aluminum so i leave it out in the rain and folds to take up very little space.
good shit
kinda shakey and rickety though

Power Tower and kettlebells.
Hey there people im bobby brown
Pull up and dips bundled bar, can pretty much hit all muscles with that plus you could add into it over time by buying rings and dumbells
Gymnast rings.

Don't you have gym parks where you live? Here in my city they're literally everywhere, and all of them have parallel bars

get some cheap rings with adjustable straps. $40 on amazon. surely your gym has horizontal bars? dips on rings are superior to parallel bars anyway.
True but I want to do more than just dips. Planche progression is much easier on straight dip bars than parelettes or rings

as long as you have somewhere to hang them
those and a pull up bar, no questions
also these I guess, can also replace both
Behold, the perfect dip station.

whats the consensus on bands?
They are stretchy
Good for stretching, warming up, and assisting bodyweight exercises. Don't like them for direct sets in place of weight (curls, extensions etc)
Bands are based. Adding tension as you go through your rep is kino.
Meme.
Basebars but theyre very expensive
not very vercitile without much effort and you need different weights. also takes lots of space and money
this is pretty much the least amount of money for the most amount of gains equipment you can buy
after this, I'd get a set of parallel bars, not the dip bars that are connected, as you can do a lot more with parallel bars
rings no doubt
Kettle bells
All you need for upper body is a set of rings, a tree branch and a backpack for weights.
