      Is mutton goat? Why goat instead of lamb?

        no mutton is sheep, just older ones

          I guess the older sheep accumulate more nutriton. How is the flavor? I always found lamb to have a strong flavor.

            Really strong and hearty

            More grassy more gamey less fatty basically all around more pungent less tender. Which I do enjoy but makes it less versatile.

        Lamb=Kid
        Mutton=Goat
        same metric even before second incisor is worn flat lamb/kid after mutton/goat

        In my opinion which you can entirely discard kid is better than lamb but mutton is better than goat

    Whatever's lean, cheap, and quick to prepare. More time for them weights.

    Liver

      What type of liver? There's a lot of variation.

      I used to eat canned cod liver. I've also eaten raw beef liver.

    Probably human. That would take the least amount of effort for your body to transform into muscle.

    Animals with multiple stomachs have more nutritional meat, I generally just go for 5% fat mince(ground beef), steak would be good if you wanna spend the money. Having fatty fish atleast once a week also preferable.

    Beef steak most likely.
    It's pretty much the only food you can live solely off.

    Beef.
    Ribeye if you’re rich.
    New York if you’re not.
    Buy the whole roast and cut the steaks yourself to save money.

      For me, it’s chuck roast.
      It’s relatively cheap, plenty of connective tissues with good nootrients, and if you cook it right it’s tender and savory.
      Great with potatoes!
      Now I’m gonna leave this thread before I’m tempted to break my pre-thanksgiving fast.

    I'm less convinced about the cut being relevant more than the prep.
    I can slow-cook the worst cuts and they still digest in record time.

      Different cuts have different nutrition. Extreme example would be organ meat vs muscle meat.

      Different cuts also have different fat to protein ratios. Ribeye has great macros. Short ribs are also great.

        It's another reason I like slow cooking.
        It seems to bleed the fat out of the meat where it can be spooned off the top leaving enough for health purposes but not so much you're not eating lean
