>Caring about others = being an egotistical control freak
I bet my parents would live an extra decade if they listened to me about nutrition, but they just won't.
Another veggay here. People figure it out anyway, but everyone is chill about it. I used to work in a warehouse with salt of the earth boomers and they didn't even joke about it, just asked why I'm not a vegetarian instead and that was that. Op is probably an obnoxious moron.
Yeah its for sure this, all these online echo chambers are hell for peoples psyche because theyre externally projecting their problems that are usually internal.
The fact that its causing her relationship problems is a dead giveaway, obviously people are going to blame the boyfriend but we have no idea whats going on in their home life. My vegan sister would always walk by and say "ew" anytime she saw me eating chicken and constantly made it a point to remind me I'm eating dead animals. If anything its probably not that vegans are treated badly, its probably this person started using /r/vegans and repeating the obnoxious diatribes of the userbase there in real life, much to the dismay of everyone around her.
depends on the experience with vegans. most people have a live-and-let-live attitude about everything that doesn't directly affect them. vegans, however, often want to make meat illegal or heavily taxed, or they just like to call you a rapist and murderer.
not him, but they have to make sure that none of the ingredients for their food has anything derived from meat, so that is a question that should be brought up in a social situation where you are eating at.
t. can't eat marshmallows or gummy bears because of gluten deriving from pork which i don't eat
>immunity to meat
stopped reading. you're an idiot, and i will not waste further brain power on anything you have to say.
it's similar to what happened after the Holocaust where after being freed, prisoners were still dying since they were eating American foods, which their body wasn't used to due to being starved.
refeeding syndrome is totally different from vegans psychologically gagging when eating meat. there are videos of ex-vegans who felt like absolute dogshit, who eventually craved meat so bad they gave in and ate it. they didn't get sick, instead they felt amazing.
refeeding syndrome has to do with a prolonged time of severe starvation and very low body fat and muscle levels. any food (not just unknown/foreign food) is a threat. they must start on very little amounts of food, and very slowly build it up to avoid dying.
My wife is vegan so I know it's true. It's hard to have to ask every single time you order something but people will think everything is vegan just because it doesn't have meat >milk is not vegan >chocolate is not vegan >caramel is not vegan
So a lot of the time you have to ask because nobody knows what's vegan. >Eggs aren't vegan >cheese isn't vegan
A few more common ones that people forget
And it's not like if they eat a non vegan product it's no big deal. When a vegan eats a non vegan product their stomach blows up. It can cause headaches, diarrhea, throwing up. So yeah, as a vegan you need to be extremely careful of what you eat, even if it's obnoxious to ask every single time

you have a condition that's not by choice. they're choosing to tank their digestive tract. as far as i'm concerned, they've lost any license to command others to accommodate that.
if you don't eat meat for a while, your body loses its immunity to meat, so it's a lot easier for vegans to get sick from eating meat since they haven't eaten it in years and their body isn't used to digesting meat.
I ate beef for the first time in years after being on a strict vegan diet. I immediately felt better, and my digestion improved. I think you're full of shit.
>When a vegan eats a non vegan product their stomach blows up. It can cause headaches, diarrhea, throwing up. So yeah, as a vegan you need to be extremely careful of what you eat, even if it's obnoxious to ask every single time
I eat mostly meat, pasta and rice. Almost never fruits or vegetables. I can get an upset stomach from foods I don't normally eat. You know what I do when I order food? I eat whatever I'm served. See the difference in behavior? You and your wife are entitled shit-for-brains. If you can't go out to eat without disrespecting the waitstaff and the cooks, then don't go out to eat. I'd bet good money you don't tip either, especially when you get assblasted over your alleged waitstaff's ignorance.
>chicken is not vegan?
this is why idk if I could date a vegan. Regular vegetarians can still just have normal diets for the most part but going out to dinner or even cooking at home for a vegan sounds like a pain in the ass
that's because until 10 odd years ago, veganism didn't actually exist and people were vegetarians
then veganism was astroturfed and every insufferable liberal teenager and their mother became vegan
Being a vegan is a little like being a black person. There's just so much discrimination. I can't even eat a carrot without looking over my shoulder and being afraid people are thinking in their head "oh of course the vegan is eating a carrot..."
I had alpha gal for seven years. I tried being vegan for awhile during that time and I sympathize with vegans a bit. The truth is, if you are going to be vegan or strict about your diet in general, you should pack your own food and eat out very rarely. Have a plan to not be able to eat anything anywhere you go. I was constantly trying to plate together something at parties that wouldn't give me anaphylaxis and people still said horrible shit to me.
Stop being a egotistical control freak and focus on yourself.
no. lose weight, fatty

Inheritance
If they can't care about themselves, you think they have anymore leftover for inheritance? They'll spend it all so they won't have any to give away.
Maybe if you didn't let everyone know that you're vegan, people wouldn't know to hate you for it.

Bully them and call them names. Show them pictures of you flexing.

Other people that are in competition with me for resources are wilfully malnourishing themselves?
Splendid!
Take their junk food away and hide it. I do this to my dad sometimes so he eats less
Yeah CICO

I am meeting a guy for gay sex tonight
Break up with them. At least, that's what worked to fix my own diet lol
assault anyone who offers you food that you didnt personally grow or raise and slaughter on your own property.
