Like 7 or 8 years ago I saw a guy rack a cheap trap bar on a squat rack around chest height, place two 45lb plates on each side, then walk away. The plates were inside the J hooks on the rack, so they could not be slid off.
I an not sure how they got the trap bar off the squat rack. It must have taken at least 2 people.
