I've been on 1500 kcal/day diet and you you need to figure it out very well at the time of preparing your meals, it's quite easy to overpass.
Most of it is literally just fruit and meat. Fruit has almost no calories to the point where the top plate is maybe 100-200 max, while the meat is more like 350-450 max. Dunno what the bottom plate is but you can make 1,600 calories look big or small depending on what you eat. Usually carbs is what gets you, really need to buy more meat myself since protein doesn’t stimulate hunger like sugar does.
