Based. Back during the onion craze in 2017 I used to make a salad with half a red onion, sliced cucumber, and a block of tofu. I'd top it with salt, pepper and a little lemon juice. I gotta start making it again.

I literally eat rice and ground beef with sesame seeds and scallions every single day. It's easy to prep and tastes great.

    >cheap/cutting
French omelette style pasta with basil, sautéed chicken. Tacos/burgers.
    >have time/bulking/have another couple dollars
Fried rice, etouffé, general tsos, au poivre, fried chicken sandwiches, nigiri or whatever it's called, wings, thai curry, fajitas, steak sandwiches.

I was always under the impression that everyone else is a filthy peasant.

My only staple is a breakfast sandwich after my 8am workouts.
    >fried egg (with a splash of milk and adobo)
    >cheese (1 slice of American)
    >salami (1 slice)
    >potato bread
I will never not have this for breakfast

Same with the ground beef and rice bowls. I cook them for a whole week at a time, with different mixed vegetables each week, but always including sauteed onions and garlic. I put beef bone broth in my rice as it's cooking.

Dinner at least six days a week is about a pound (cooked weight) of chicken thighs, 165g of large curd cottage cheese and a big bowl of spinach, sugar snap peas or snow peas, carrots and tomatoes.

Sometimes a pickle, which have effectively zero calories. Light balsamic dressing that is 15 calories for 30 ml for the veggies. BBQ sauce is 30 calories for 33 ml.

Overall it works out to around 1,100 calories, give or take depending on how much chicken.

I can eat the same meals basically indefinitely and not get tired of them. I think I've been eating this for dinner almost every day for a year or more at this point with not much variation. Sometimes I'll have pork loin instead, when its on sale for a lower price than the chicken thighs.

Sometimes I'll switch out cottage cheese for rice and beans, just rice, or roasted potatoes. I just make a big batch of everything on Sundays to get me through the week.

few of the wife and I's go to dinners:
    >tikka masala with thigh meat in the crockpot served over rice
    >chicken breast quesadillas made with low carb tortillas and homemade salsa
    >pasta with venison meat sauce
    >wedding soup with venison meatballs
    >chicken noodle soup with thigh meat
    >white peepoe tacos with ground venison
    >pizza(I make the dough so no sugar)
    >grilled Cajun chicken
    >chicken teriyaki
I make a loaf of bread on days I work from home and we'll have that with meals or for breakfast with some home made jam. I take her with me when I go scouting for deer season and she goes full on berry picker mode and gets enough wild berries to make enough jam for the year.
