I did one year of no-GI BJJ classes at a decent MMA gym.
I was around 200lbs @ 5'11" at the time, 1/2/3/4+ for reps.
Coincidentally, a lot of big dudes had signed up that year. Heavier than me, taller than me or generally around the same size as me.
Except for this one skinny short guy which I think had previous experience. Sparring with people larger than me with similar inexperience was no problem at all, while with the short skinny guy you always ended up in some variation of a triangle choke.
Story time is done, now scurry back to
did you not figure out how to not fall into a triangle after the first 10-20 times it happened? rolling with the open-guard dudes you should know they're always trying to set up the triangle. both arms inside or both outside their legs and focus on your base. also getting triangled by manlets in no gi is pathetic, much worse than gi where they can make grips
I didn't roll with him 10 times in total, but I noticed the same happened to other guys too. Apart from that specific guy I did relatively well, not so much in landing submissions but maintaining control and not getting submitted while rolling with more experienced guys. A part of it might be instinctually not going so hard when against someone you have 50lbs on, I generally didn't try to overpower people for the sake of it when I could most of the time, I kept that for the people of similar or larger size and/or much more experience.
Probably like 80% because most people don't know how to grapple. The 20% winning is because overwhelming strength can overcome technique and there are some people who can grapple
*jj macaques can't grapple
But in all honesty probably 95% of IST who doesn't grapple or play a contact sport and is much bigger than you. >t. nidan judoka with 5.5"×6.75" uncut goblin dick
You're thinking of judo and jiu jitsu and I'm pretty sure it's only Japan that does that but their grading system is similar to schooling in terms of rank. Eastern Europe doesn't do this but I could be wrong. *jj belt system has every colour of the pride flag though because they're troonys.
That's judo and it's not quite true
At 6th dan you get a red and white checkered belt
At 8th or 9th dan you get a solid red belt (but that's super SUPER rare, I'm talking like 10 people in the world rare)
over 80pct
not me though. im a 5th year whitebelt that hasnt been tapped by a blue belt in 3 years. won't get promoted until i agree to start doing that gay bow they make you do and thats never happening
This is sadly the truth, then they lock you into something and crank the shit out of it to show you how tough they are after upi just muscled out of like 8 of their other gay ass submissions. So glad I stopped going to that shit, it was fun to wrassle and get some aggression out but man those purple belts get butthurt if you can just pull your arms free. Women are even worse because the coaches constantly shill "technique over strength" and hate when you treat them like little kids
Not me.
I don't have much experience in BJJ, only about 10 classes, but I know a decent amount of Judo, and I've also trained in boxing, muay thai, and generic MMA, and a little bit of 10th planet.
Also I have the height and weight advantage, so I'm pretty sure I could wreck you
Everyone shorter than 6, nobody taller than 6
breasts or gtfo

what the frick
that's like a cheese wheel
you basically have no experience until you're a black belt. Every other country uses only white belts and black belts.

Rent free holy shit
Shut your mouth troony.
Unclear in which direction they transgenderd

I'm a 230lb brown belt with MMA experience
>I'm a 230lb
ok fattie ill shit down your neck. even though you're fat and strong i'll turbo tap you with a full mount ezekiel just to humiliate you
over 80pct

I'd never go to a fight where I couldn't take a gun.
everything i've heard from strong guys is they end up pissing off all the weak advanced bjj guys bc they just overpower their little buttsex moves

Do you even train
But seriously he walked because of equity.
>blowjobjob

Everyone here is a fightlet bro
You never said what I had to could them
But as long as I don't sit down and let them but scoot me odds go up
More if I try to strike
Are you OK? Is one arm numb? Can you smell burning?
Doing any martial art for even 2 weeks give you a massive advantage on the untrained
This guy in question could probably beat 95% of the board, the rest either train something or get a lucky punch
Not me.
