What oil should you be frying with?
Seed oils all suck cause linoleic acid kills you:
>Safflower Oil:70-80% linoleic acid.
>Sunflower Oil:65-75% linoleic acid, (high oleic sunflower oil has a lower percentage.)
>Corn Oil:50-60% linoleic acid.
>Basedbean Oil:50-60% linoleic acid.
>Cottonseed Oil:45-55% linoleic acid.
>Grapeseed Oil:60-70% linoleic acid.
>Walnut Oil:50-60% linoleic acid.
>Canola Oil:20-30% linoleic acid
Avocado oil easily becomes rancid despite high heat point and EVOO, coconut oil and butter all have low smoke points
>What oil should you be frying with?
Butter
You get cancer from burnt butter
You get cancer from everything, existence itself is carcinogenic.
>we all die therefore speed run life
You can cure cancer by fasting
Use ghee
where do you morons come up with this shit
>"other factors" only count when i want them too
interesting
>things nobody said for 500 alex
>Yes, I'm sure that there are absolutely zero other factors contributing to that.
dementia joe is that you?
Can you show me where in that sentence I said other factors only count when I want them to, or even what my position was? Thanks.
you are demented
I accept your concession. Please avoid making false accusations in the future so as to not waste peoples time, since you aren't going to admit you were wrong. Thanks.
im not wrong you just cant read the reply chain or youre moronic. your choice
It's okay, I already accepted your concession. You've shown no proof for your assertions, and you just keep insulting to cover it up. I'm not gonna reply any further. Have a good day.
jesus christ i cant believe you really are this dumb
>fry everything in all saturated fat, die before 40 when your arteries could substitute rebar in concrete.
>Yes, I'm sure that there are absolutely zero other factors contributing to that.
>still replying
>still a moron
ill pray for you little guy
I got a bit of cancer from reading your post
Then don't burn it, moron.
FPBP, butter really is king for most things. i use canola oil mostly but ive tried corn oil, vegetable oil, coconut oil, obviously olive oil. might have used peanut oil idk. marjorine and crisco/shortening. rendered fat(lard). i think canola oil and olive oil is still my favorite, but i like coconout oil when making popcorn lol
Motor oil
I mean the answer is just avocado oil
>but it goes rancid so fast!
I don't fry food very often but I bought a bottle back in mid 2023 and the label says it doesn't go bad until July of this year, is nearly a year too fast for you?
>theres only two brands of avacado oil out 22 sampled in the US that are considered quality avacado oil
https://www.futurity.org/avocado-oil-2388152/
>In the country’s first extensive study of commercial avocado oil quality and purity, UC Davis researchers report that at least 82 percent of test samples were either stale before expiration date or mixed with other oils. In three cases, bottles labeled as “pure” or “extra virgin” avocado oil contained near 100 percent basedbean oil, an oil commonly used in processed foods that’s much less expensive to produce.
https://www.ucdavis.edu/food/news/study-finds-82-percent-avocado-oil-rancid-or-mixed-other-oils
Buy those brands then? You people quibble over minutae when an answer is right in front of you
>"I need to fry high heat but I hate seed oils!"
>avocado oil should be fine
>"but it goes rancid fast"
>if you're frying so much you should be able to finish it in a year?
>"well ummh ackshully this article says most avocado oil is already bad or not even avocado oil, only these two brands were high quality"
>Oh that kinda sucks, just buy those brands then I guess
>"but but but!"
i dont understand how these companies dont get sued heavily for whats effectively fraud. Crazy we live in a world where even healthy food is adulterated in some way. its insidious because many people wouldnt be eating this stuff at all if they knew it wasnt a quality product, and they would be healthier not eating it in the first place so its not only fraud but actively harming them if they use it as a staple in their meals every week.
sometimes i will chop vegetables up for my family with avacado oil and put them in the oven for a bit and now i need to figure out if ive been using a shit brand trying to make them something healthy to eat. completely fricking ridiculous.
>i dont understand how these companies dont get sued heavily for whats effectively fraud.
Jews
Everything in our legal system is designed to swindle a few extra shekels out of the goy.
>Doesnt see clarified butter or tallow, only lard.
Your infographic doesn't even include the oil I use for frying homosexual.
Lard
I buy big roasts and slow cooker them.
They secrete so much oil it's hard to keep up with it.
I use it to cook eggs, potatoes, cabbage, etc
don't fry. use olive oil.
Coconut oil, it is that simple
>high enough heat oil
>all satfat
>relatively affordable
Also ghee can be fried with
Coconut oil is alright, makes my dick skin smooth and healthy
Best advice in the thread, fry everything in all saturated fat, die before 40 when your arteries could substitute rebar in concrete.
France and Germany consumed high amounts of saturated fat while suffering fewer cardiovascular problems. The problem isn't saturated fat.
Fats are high density food though, so if you want to lose weight or maintain your weight you will want to moderate your intake regardless of what fat you use
Yes, I'm sure that there are absolutely zero other factors contributing to that.
Frick off and die moronic leftoid
Beef tallow
You shouldn't fry with oil at all. If you don't eat a whole food plant based diet (vegan, no added oils) you're going to get cancer.
Ghee
Them digits don't lie, this thread is well-poisoning at its finest, just look at the two shills talking about avocado oil lmao.
Ghee
Duck fat. Anything else is for troony-Black folk.
Beef fat, you wiener sucking homo
there is no reason to ever fry anything unless you are a chef and need to cook food as fast as possible
Or if it’s thanksgiving and you’re cooking turkey. Deep fry or ngmi.
Any fats tallow, duck fat, chicken fat, lard. Makes everything taste great . Ghee then Coconut and avocado would be next best bet. Cooked burgers in a mix of tallow/butter came out so good
Maybe just use the healthy oils but don’t cook above the smoke point… high heat cooking is bad for you (a bit moreso with meats and especially chicken if it’s dark brown/black anywhere fwiw)
>but I need my crunchy crispy caramelised yum yums
Either learn to cook well and add flavour in other ways, or decide that mouth feel is so important that you choose it over health.
Irrelevant
>frying
NGMI
Ghee
there is really no reason to ever use oil
it's a modern invention that serves virtually no purpose. You can just boil or grill anything, and meats secrete enough fat just from putting it in pan. If you really need some sort of grease you can just use the fat of the meat you just fried
I use vegetable oil because it doesn't burn and I can waste some and not care because it's ubiquitous
>Ah I poured a bit too much machine lubricant into the pan, doesn't matter tho I have more than I need for cooking, it's so readily available and cheap!
Nah, that ain't it
I use either butter or extra virgin olive oil.
I use butter.
You moron realize that you don't use normal vegetable oil for frying?
High oleic sunflower oil is 90% oleic acid and better than olive oil
Olives are a fruit
>What oil should you be frying with?
None. I firmly believe frying is among the most foul cooking inventions in human history. There's zero reason heat oils ever, it can only make them dangerous.
You should not be adding hundreds of calories of nutrient void fat to your diet.
Olive (extra virgin), butter and coconut oil are all fine
If digits, Black folk rape OP's kids
What temperature do you guys use to decarb your Sunflower oil?
Ghee.
I use olive oil with medium heat. If i need the high heat, I just use butter
Tallow or butter.
Evoo doesn't last that long on the shelf. Goes rancid in time. Tallow lasts years.
Avocado oil can't handle any heat without going rancid.
Can you please explain this to me? I can't find any info about avocado oil going rancid in heat.
One of the best food inventions ever, clarified butter, or as it is known in pooland, Ghee.
>we just boiled butter and sold it for a 150% markup
have you considered not being a b***h? sunflower for frying for its high smoke point and neutral taste. butter, olive and sesame oil for non frying uses
There is no safe oil for frying. Even healthy fats break down when used in cooking. Olive Oil is probably the best in terms of flavor.
you shouldn't be frying shit regularly
Flax seed oil is full of phytoestrogens
I just fry in butter or lard
Much better than fricking motor oils you guys are using
