What percentage have visible abs AND a two plate bench OP? This is the question that YOU(OP) should be asking!
1/20 American adult males are under 12% bodyfat and out of those males 1/300 can bench press 2pl8. So that's 1 in 6,000 males, in America which is the only country that matters
I can only see my abs in the morning (right now I'm around 10% bf), I got really bad fat distribution and at this point I just accepted I can see most of my veins but can barely see my abs.
>People really underestimate how shredded it is.
This. I started cutting and thought I was around 15%. 4.5 lbs and 3 weeks later, I realized my starting point was closer to 18%
maybe you can answer this
I went in for a scan and it registered 1.511 g/cm^2
this appears to be high but the person gave me no interpretation of the results and the internet isn't helping much either
what's it mean?
Abs are muscles, like all muscles. If you can't see them well, and if you're right about your bf% (idk how, I gauge mine based on my abs), then you need ab hypertrophy work. There's a reason strongmen can have abs at like 20% bf
Male population globally?
America at least is like 75% overweight, and those people with relatively normal BMI are usually skinny fat. Barely anyone is low BF% and fit.
Abs start showing through on most people around 17% body fat. That's 13% of the population. Some people are just naturally skinny though. That number only matters if they have enough ab muscle to actually show through. 23% of people lift enough according to the CDC (I know, American numbers, but shut up). Since we all know fatties and dyel normies lift, let's just say that it's roughly a quarter of people who lift actually push themselves hard enough for it to matter. So about 6%. Assuming we take a slice of all the people that are that lean, and we use the 6% of them actually lift hard enough, that would mean that a little under 0.8% of people have a good set of abs on display.
holy frick you guys are beyond delusional it's seriously fricking unreal. do you even understand what you just said?
you understand that the percentage you say is an actual mathematical value?
you are actually saying that one out of every 10 people on the street has VISIBLE SIX PACK ABS? What the frick? Not even one out of every 10 people that religiously workout in the gym have a visible six pack abs. It's definitely under <1% and maybe a little bit more have some level of babby ab definition.
Just understand that nobody will know you have a 6 pack when you have clothes on.
If you have a 6 pack and want people to know, you need to post pictures of it on your Insta
<<1%. On a fifty person college track and field team you might find 1 or 2 people who have a 6 pack unflexed. Way more common to have a 4 pack or 6 pack (only when flexed).
It's more visible when he flexes, but it's still not quite a stereotypical 6 pack. Anyways my point is that hardly anyone has 6 packs, even elite athletes who train for lean mass and strong abs.
Would you say there's a difference between saying someone has "abs" vs a "6-pack"? To me abs is some definition up top especially with good lighting and whatnot, but maybe not so much below and maybe 5% have that, but a 6-pack is solid definition throughout regardless of lighting or angles, etc. and probably less than 1% are at that level.
What percentage have visible abs AND a two plate bench OP? This is the question that YOU(OP) should be asking!
Two plate thats like 60 kilo isnt it anyone can do that
80 kilo.
102kg anon
Like 2%
Lol not even close

60% unless you are terminally online and only consoom twitter screenshois
2% even if you aren't terminally online. Most people are fat
15% is normally when they become visible visible, so probably that
yeah 10% of the people that workout
so like 1-2%
I can only see my abs in the morning (right now I'm around 10% bf), I got really bad fat distribution and at this point I just accepted I can see most of my veins but can barely see my abs.
do core more
You are not 10% then, probably towards 20%. People really underestimate how shredded it is.
T.does DXAs for work
>People really underestimate how shredded it is.
This. I started cutting and thought I was around 15%. 4.5 lbs and 3 weeks later, I realized my starting point was closer to 18%
If you measure waist and neck, how inaccurate can that be? 3-4%?
Off by 5. So if it says 20% you could be 25% or 15%
Extremely.
maybe you can answer this
I went in for a scan and it registered 1.511 g/cm^2
this appears to be high but the person gave me no interpretation of the results and the internet isn't helping much either
what's it mean?
1.511 g/cm^2 total for bone density*
DXAs have a 4% margin of error. Literally the same as calipers and the navy test. It is useless for bodybuilding and bodyfat percentages.

An actual defined 6 pack? Probs like 5% maybe ⅓ of those have decent muscle and aren't twigs.
T. Went to a lake in the peak of summer in a pretty affluent area and mogged quite literally every other man I saw. Autism really is a superpower
i live in a beach city and the chances are still slim to see a nice pair of abs
I'm in Florida and I will see maybe 2 people at the beach in summer with six packs. Granted I go to white trash beaches but still.
This thread proves that 60% of people on this website can't read

idk if it's right at all, but best effort ITT
Very very minor definition of the top abs maybe. They don't really start popping until 10-12% and aren't great looking until lower
If that's the case then only like 1 in 18000 would have a full six pack
That's correct
so you're saying that 13% of the population show 50% of the abs
33.3% of fit cant read English
<1%
If you think anything else you need to go outside and look at the people
Internet/social media, tv, movies is distorting how you see things
You really think 10 percent when 40 percent of the country is obese?
Most of the world is poor colored people anon
<.5%
2-3% probably, little lower than % of people that are good looking which is around 4-5%
holy frick you guys are beyond delusional it's seriously fricking unreal. do you even understand what you just said?

I want to see what you look like, you must look like the biggest weirdo freakazoid to post such a reply to my thread
Really, what do you look like? I want to see what kind of absolute freak posts such a non-sense reply to a thread
you are a fricking Black person
so emotional
He's right, what you said was ridiculous
Not even some athletes have 6 pack abs. We aren't talking about a 4 pack, the OP said 6 pack specifically.
Why do scrawny indian street shitters have abs then moron. You’re forgetting how many chinamen and pajeets there are
genetics + being starved. Most (almost all) of the scrawny pajeets don't have abs
depends on age, most zoomers and millenials go to the gym nowadays, like 50% below 30 and 25% above 30 yo have decent abs
>most zoomers and millenials go to the gym nowadays
Lol, lmao
Less than 5% in the US, probably less than 1% if I am being honest
>getting a 6 pack will make me elite aesthetically
Jesus Christ bros this site has fricked with my image of the average person.
Just understand that nobody will know you have a 6 pack when you have clothes on.
If you have a 6 pack and want people to know, you need to post pictures of it on your Insta
You know you can just dress to show off your physique right?
Are you planning on wearing crop tops as a man
you can go shirtless in public in all sorts of places, the beach, the park, the pool, hiking, certain gyms, while running, etc
A tight fitting shirt that shows off your vtaper is enough.
or just take steroids and become big and lean at the same time lol
Adult men In the US? maybe 1 in 10,000
I have a 4 pack but I still have a pooch, make me look like a one piece character
<<1%. On a fifty person college track and field team you might find 1 or 2 people who have a 6 pack unflexed. Way more common to have a 4 pack or 6 pack (only when flexed).
Picrel, the muay thai featherweight world champion barely has a 6 pack.
That isn't a 6 pack.
Do you people consider anyone with basic ab outlines to have a 6 pack?
It's more visible when he flexes, but it's still not quite a stereotypical 6 pack. Anyways my point is that hardly anyone has 6 packs, even elite athletes who train for lean mass and strong abs.
he literally has 1 pack lol
Counting Skellys I’ll say 5% is a good estimate
Skellys are mostly skinnyfats, and most skinnyfit people (track athletes for example) don't have the genetics for six packs.
Does this count yet?
Heinous gyno. Like the stiff peaks of a baked merengue.
You look good anon but consider boxer briefs instead
1%

When I was fat I could see my upper abs when I flexed them in good lighting
Abs = 10-15% bodyfat
How fat?
25-30%
Before the age of 24? 5%-10% of kids probably
After you become an adult? Less than 1%
100% (I live in Albania)
