What truly motivates you to stay fit?

As in, what or who do you really do it for? I’ve realized that most men do it to impress girls. It is such a shallow and self-centered reason to stay fit and will inevitably cause you to become even more narcissistic than you originally were.

    >doing it for girls
Maybe I'm just handsome/tall (only 6'0), but I never had a problem getting girls regardless of my physique. I somehow landed 7/10s even being overweight.
My motivation was I was tired of being exhausted over simple tasks like tying my shoe laces or walking up a flight of stairs. It really hit me hard when I went on a hike with friends and I was slowing everyone down because I kept needing to rest every 10 minutes.
Plus, I was just disgusted at what I had to look at in the mirror.
I want to be able to perform physical tasks effortlessly and to be happy with my physique.

How many fricking times will you homosexuals make the same exact thread over and over and over.
      >why do you lift?
      >what physique do women want?
      >how to get x physique?
      >why woman wear tight pants?
Lifting weights is not an interesting hobby. Everyone already knows how to work out. There is nothing to talk about and you are wasting your life here

You sure do enjoy talking about yourself on social media

Your body is not yours. It is God’s. It has been left in your care. It’s not rocket science to figure out how you should manage the property.

It really just comes down to how much I hate fat and weak people and how much they disgust me. You get one (1) single body in this lifetime. If you want to treat yours like shit, that's your call. I want mine to work right and I want to enjoy living as opposed to having aches and pains all day every day.

ottermode maxxing to look like Patrick Bateman, also because cardio is king and getting tired easily sucks.
Basic taught me what real fitness looks like and it's skinny with muscle. Big bulky dudes don't last

I really, REALLY hate myself. Unfortunately, this is warranted. Without forced discipline and constantly doing everything I don't want to do, I revert to being an obese, disgusting freak, perfectly content leeching off of anyone who would take pity, until I gracelessly expire at 25, then destroying a crematorium with mountains of hot-burning fat.

I was 240 pounds at age 12. It's the highest I've ever weighed because I began to put a stop to all my sources of pleasure in life (read: processed crap and soda). I had no friends because I deserved none.

Eight years later, I still look, sound, and smell rather disgusting, but my BMI is 22, I can do 25 straight pull ups and a 5k in 21 minutes, and I shower twice daily. Not necessarily fit, certainly not attractive, but much, much better.

imagine thinking lifting for women is shallow. are you fricking moronic or what? literally none of us would even exist if we didnt have sex and raise our children. that is the only reason you are alive. there is no better reason to lift than to find a mate. there is arguably no reason to even live at all if you dont reproduce.

but yeah dude your 4pl8 deadlift is so functional!!! functional strength rocks!!! im preparing to go to war!!!! frick all these weak men in society!! weak men create hard times,, RRROOOOARRRR!!
